Vera Street, sure, but i think its to slow for there current intensity level. Not that i wouldn\'t mind hearing it.

Thread says bring back Food for Thought, not list of songs i want to hear brought back.

Why don\'t we petition for new songs?

This band, this board, this fan base is idle and becoming stale.

If you can\'t see the writing on the wall, then you are blind.

Not saying anything negative about the band or anything along those lines but without change you fade away.

This is already happening, at least I see it.

Hmmm, seems to me that a couple new songs were recently debuted. Yes, lets petition then. I think everyone wants to hear new tunes, but calling out for old ones is a testament to the greatness of their material. I think requesting these tunes is the best way to get them to play them again.

Maybe I am a blind starry eyed newb but I am a relatively new fan that will go long distances to see the boys jam. I listen pretty much daily. I can\'t be the only one out there. I bet every show brings in someone new. Recordings are more important than ever. There are fans down south and out west that rely on these things to hear these epic jams. Everyone can go to the LMA and hear what went down. Things have changed with touring patterns and such but there is still a commitment there and I think the shows have been anything but stale. Again, I haven\'t been here as long as others and haven\'t been through all of the battles and trenches and adversities that this band has faced over their 11-year career. But there is something very viable here. They wouldn\'t still be playing if there wasn\'t anything there.

I don\'t have any real answers but I have faith. I\'m not saying that you do not have any or are any more or less of a fan. I respect your opinion very much. Your post stirred up something inside of me.

I agree with frolfer. They have been debuting a few new songs and i am sure they are working on more. suggestion to play old songs are just that, suggestions. If the band wants to take time out of practicing to bring back and old tune, i am sure it would be worth it. And if they are putting out new material i don\'t see how they could have any intentions of slowing down.

I am def still a n00b, but i have been to enough shows in the past and recently to know they are so far from being "stale" right now. They may not be playing a ton of shows but the ones they do play are more diverse and jammed harder then ever. Maybe i am "blind" but i still go to any show i can and bring as many TB virgins as possible, and i am not going to stop.
