2010 TB Shows
« on: January 18, 2010, 04:55:15 pm »
So it looks like 2010 has the making of another 2009 based on MJG\'s site...  There\'s 11 shows set from January-August...  I don\'t think this is in the right thread, but I don\'t have priveleges to post in there... Here\'s what I see so far:

1/29 - Stone Church
1/30 - Sully\'s
2/5 - Jerkey\'s
2/18 - Baruch Performing Arts Center
2/19 - Westcott Theatre
2/20 - Mill Street Brews
5/8 - Mohawk Place
6/17 - The Big Up
6/18 - Boree Fest
8/19 - Camp Barefoot
8/21 - Camp Barefoot

On a side note, does MJG have a real website other than Myspace or Facebook?

It means that 2 shows in January, 1 in early February and 3 in late February, looks like a carbon copy of \'09 (2 shows in January and 3 in February)... 08-09 took a hit in the number of shows and it doesn\'t look like 2010 is going to be a rebound year... That\'s all, just stating a fact...  Maybe I\'m reaching for something that isn\'t there anymore...

i was lucky enough to catch 20+ shows in 2009 without having to drive more than 2 hours. if this is the case in 2010, i\'ll be happy. plus kung fu and the owl shop are right down the street. if anything, my breakfast cup runneth over.

Why do you bother Yoda?
Things will never change with this band.
They put out dates as they get them. They are not a hot commodity in any market not even their home market.
They have a management company that has no clue how to promote them and a keyboard player that kills any touring hopes through no real fault of his own as he has to make a living somehow.

Just be glad to know that sometime this year they WILL play close enough to you that you can some how get off the leash for a night.
That is a fuck load more than anyone west of Chicago has to look 4ward to.
Worrying is like praying for something you don't want.

I\'d be more tickled if they trickled in some vocals on a regular basis...
