Anyone on this forum got a PS2 Online?
« on: January 30, 2004, 01:38:26 am »
Just wondering if anyone was online w/ a PS2.

I do not care to hear any BS about the XBOX either. I know its a great machine but I\'m all about the PS2. If anyone wants to race SSX3 just PM me and we\'ll set up a race. Peace

leith, i bought the network adapter when it was released, and haven\'t connected yet.. figure that one out..

you won\'t hear any BS from me... i couldn\'t decide which system was best, so i got all 3. :D i am sort of partial to the xbox though, since it\'s so easy to copy \'backup\' my games. ;)

Hook that siht up. We could be playin\' and talkin abt PB for free on the headset.
I understand abt all systems. You probably could have done w/o the GC i bet, unless you r like my buddy Corey who is a Nintendo DIEHARD. I love the XBOX and am abt to buy a refurbished one for $120. I just love my PS2.

Oh Now we\'re talkin\'!!!

get the adapter for $40. You got broadband I assume. Plug adapter in to back of PS2, take Cat-5 cable from computer and plug into PS2 or get a router and computer stays connected too if u wish. Then PM me or post a challange so I can look for you when I log on. Bring It Man. I have been practicing my slice and I am ready to kick some Wah Ass.

could definitely NOT do without the GC... too many exclusive gems.. Metroid Prime, Zelda: WW, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mario Sunshine... not to mention THE BEST multiplayer game(s) of all time - the Super Monkey Ball series! nothing beats 4-player monkey ball with 4 WaveBirds - the BEST controller ever invented...

wow... sounding like a real nintendo fanboy right now...

See I knew it. I was never a big Nintendo guy. I don\'t know why really.
I have 2 AIR Style wireless controllers made by a local co. for my PS2. It is so sweet to be chillin\' w/o the worry of the dog screwing up my game!

well, i got all 3 systems on their respective release dates, if that means anything...

i now have to pick up a GBA SP and a link cable to enjoy the multiplayer genius that is Pac-Man VS... the person with the GBA controls Pac, while the people with GC controllers control the ghosts on the screen (it\'s 3d)... can\'t wait to try that out...

they\'ve all got their share of great games. that\'s why i have them all.. i\'m a VG junkie... (i mean, you have heard about the Pecksbox, haven\'t you??)

Oh yeah. You have actually inspired me to begin conceptual work on my own home arcade.

Pac-Man v.s. is a good concept but I hear in actuality it kinda sux. I hear that the ghost views are very limited as they share the screen in split screen fashion. I used to test for Midway and have a bunch of friends here in S.D. @ Rockstar San Diego so I get a lot of the real scoop on games. I would be interested to know how you like it though.
