dave how many people were in front of you in line?
we got there at 1030pm, danno and I were 8th and 9th in line. One guy was there from 4pm onward, and he wasnt even going to the show, just buying tickets for his sister, who now has a kid and cant wait in line anymore but is a huge fan. Very cool crowd there, everyone was friendly, and they made a list based on what order you came, so when the morning came it was easy to get in a single file line for the ticket booths. Times union center is nice cause there is a hige overhang so even if it is raining (was a little), you are 100% dry where we waited. I brough a pad and sleeping bad/pillow/earplugs and wasable to get about 5-6 hours of sleep. No one fucked with me while I was sleeping. There were 11 people there for a long time...not until about 6am did other people show up. by the time noon hit there was probably about 100 people in line. the whole thing was very organized, the security told everyone the deal really early in the morning, then they got everyone up to the 8 open booths at like 1155, so when 12 hit you cause make the sale almost immediately. This is quicker than online cause you dont neds to do all the bullshit typing in the passwords, picking seat #s, confirming, loggin in, etc. I had my tickets in literally 30 seconds from when I got up to the booth. The people that were in front of us all got front row seats. def worth being a bum for a night, it was actually pretty fun.
