So after tonites sit in who thinks yoda will
A: love it and remind everbody how cool the boss is
B: hate it and remind everbody how much cooler the boss is than phish

My thoughts: whatever, phish sit ins are usually pretty lame, and im sure this is no different.
The lights from Ellis showed a mischevious sparkle
That flashed in his hollowed eye stare...

Thanks for the early morning jab.  A couple points:

1. I just saw the setlist now and it didn\'t indicate on phish.com that bruce sat in w/ Phish, so that\'s news to me...
2. I\'m not going to say who\'s better because it\'s two different genres of music.  My preference is bruce, but that\'s me...
3. I have to hear it to decide if it was good or not. Either way, it\'s cool because, to some degree, it means that Trey and Page haven\'t completely forgot where they came from - New Jersey...
4. I actually thought that bruce\'s set on saturday looked a little weak on paper.  He basically kept to the same setlist pattern that the whole tour has w/ a few extra encores.  I personally thought that him headlining bonnaroo was a chance for him to come out and play a show that\'s different than the one he\'s doing on tour...

Has this show surfaced yet?

I agree. Very few sit-ins or special appearances have really floored me.

I might like Bruce a bit more now that he has had the honor to share the stage with Phish.

with the obvious exception of the best sit in/guitar war ever, the bb king sit-in.

I agree w/ you Paul, but I bet you there\'s going to be a bunch of people bitching that Trey and BB never got into sync, so it wasn\'t a good sit-in.  That was actually my last Phish show and to get to see BB jam w/ Phish for like 40 minutes was damn cool; no matter what anyone says...

it was good at first, but I would have liked to see this last only for 1 song....40 minutes was too long

I agree that the sit in probably went on too long, but who\'s going to tell BB King that it\'s time to go?

I totally missed the sarcasm... I actually thought the sit-in was pretty good, but then again, I\'m not the best judge in tast...  I think the problem w/ that sit-in was that BB is BB and he\'s not going to change the way he jams to fit Phish\'s style and I think the same thing was going on from Phish\'s perspective...
