DAMN!!!!

The better half needed a Vermont Song fix so I through this show on. The Original Line up is bringing the heat on this 1.

It was making me all nostalgic so I thought I would make a thread.

I remember this show pretty vividly. There was NO ONE there when we showed up. By the end of the night it was raging.

Jordan really has/had killer vocals for this band.

chock full of underagers who would walk in through the front door like it was the right thing to do.
around midnight, your textbook drugdealer would show up,gold teeth/bling/you name it everywhere and set up shop in the bathroom.
i remember there would be a line of 30+folks waiting to see him.
adrian would sit there and watch over, not even giving a fuck.
ah.good times.

this was and still is one of my favorite shows ever. I wrote a full review of it somewhere.

and zacqour....oh man........

used to be the best place in ny to see the band play.

"I don\'t know why but we always play our best there"  -Jordo

adrian (the owner) was a SER piece of work. deffinitly the bar was hands down the most anything goes attitude ever experienced or even possible . I could tell some stories related to the one wah mentioned but they are just too grimey to repeat really heh but hey... bring out the fuckin patron, pass it around and it was on... great show every time. it was the same for rezi. but breakfast shows there were really something special. Listen to any show from G-ville. It will be gnar.

April 15th, 2005 - Cafe Zacquor; Gloversville, NY

I: Drunk Monk Bar, Fresh Cut > The Chase, Peaches En Regalia > jam > Sleeping Beauty, jam > What The Funk > In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed > Wake Up In A Coma > Drum Solo > In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed

II: May Fly Disarray, jam > Cut Me Some Slack > Beef Barley > Cut Me Some Slack, Hard Luck Harry > Message In A Bottle > Hard Luck Harry > Drum Solo, jam > Taboo Or Not Taboot > Doughboy

E: 2001* > The Vermont Song

* with Super Bad/Sex Machine jam

had to look up the setlist but I def remember this show now.  The crowd pretty much made the guys go back up fro and encore something like 10-15 min after the end of the 2nd set, it was almost obnoxious.  BUT the 2001>VT song was some unreal shit.  I def heard some people make phish comparisons that night (in a good way)
