Lets talk about this because we all agree it has to be extraordinary.

This is what I\'m feeling:

1. Space city affair
2. New Ron Song
3. Tunage
4. New Matt song
5. New Instrumental song
6. Eppy 4
7. Eppy 5
8. Space City affair

And for the first 100 who buy the album they get live versions of:

Hard Luck Harry
Gladys Pimp
and
Intension>Overexposure

this is my drunken dream. lets hear some realistic probabilities
i think it\'s turning back on me / i\'m down on the upside

1. WUIAC
2. The Chase
3. Tunage
4. Dig
5. Mayfly Disarray
6. New Tune/Instrumental
7. Hard Luck Harry
8. New Tune/Instrumental
9. Episode 3 (Awakening)

If they start pumping out a bunch of new material, sweet. But I still think these tracks need  studio treatment. The fan base is still very small so this polished material will be new to noobs and sound wonderful. I\'ve also craved studio versions of all these for a long time. I\'d also like to see them get more experimental in the studio. Throw in some quirky :30 tracks as transitions and shit. And some serious time must be spent on vocals.

I could care less what songs they decide to record.
My only desire is that the next album is laid down in a real studio with an above average production team using the live approach of Deuce.
This band\'s strength is it\'s live playing it should be emphasized.

Me too.

The Chase through Mayfly would be deliciously funky.

Whatever happened to the idea that Tim had years back, a double album of songs never played live?

I personally think it should be new material that goes onto the next studio album.  One or two songs from the classics yet recorded tunes (exp: TGSOT - great placement on RR), but the rest new material.  To me, the whole idea of going into a studio and making an album is creating something new, not recording a bunch of songs that have already been refined by years of being played live (and the the Jordan era of the band).  The album should be only songs that this band (Tim, Adrian, Ron and Matt) has written.

I disagree. I think the polished material is exactly what they should lay down in the studio. Who says they can\'t release a couple albums in the next year and a half anyways? Get in now and lay down these polished tracks in 2 days, add what\'s needed through the mixing process, and continue to work on new material that will eventually find itself on an album in the not so far future. It\'s something they should do, imo.

Either way I guess leith is right, I don\'t care all that much what they record as long as they approach it in a live manner. I\'d just love to have quality studio versions of all these great tunes. And like I said before, there are sooooooo many people in this scene who still haven\'t even heard TB and these songs on one thick album could bring them some serious praise from the "jamband media" such as relix and jambase. So yeah, I lied, I guess I do care. ;)

I continue to disagree, the name may still be The Breakfast, but it\'s a different band than when Jordan was with them, and when they were a Trio.  If they had already recorded the songs and released them as some sort of special B-Side package, then I would agree.  But to go into a studio and record songs that are not part of "this" band\'s history would be wrong.  Don\'t get me wrong, I don\'t think that the songs that were suggested wouldn\'t make a good album.  But if they\'re going to incur the debt to the label, then they should do it with something new, not just because there\'s pressure to get something out.  I think this incarnation of the band sounds great, let\'s not rush them to get something out, just because fans feel it\'s time for a new studio album.

These songs that were written back in the day are still part of this bands history reguardless of Matt not being part of the band when they were written. I mean they still play them now, Matt still had to learn them, so they have already become part of this new bands history.

But yeah, no need to rush it.

All I\'m saying is that this is the same band, but it isn\'t.  I just think that the next album, unless it\'s live, should be a new and collaborative effort on new songs between all current members of the band.

For some reason I think hard luck harry will be on the next album. Probably just my wishful thinking.
