This may start a war with the OE people, but I look at this from a different perspective - listening to a live recording after the fact.  When I hear OE, it\'s cool, but at about 13-14minutes in, I\'m looking at my mp3 player to see how long I\'ve been listening to the song because I\'m ready for the jam to end and go back into the end of the song; I don\'t ever have that problem with MV.  I think people are into songs when they are there, but after the fact may think back and say, I don\'t remember it being that long.  For example, Phish - Rock and Roll (Hartford/99).  I enjoyed it when I saw it, but I can\'t take a 30 minute ambient jam after the song has ended; I usual find myself going to the next track.

Phish played an epic Drowned on 12/12/99, not Rock And Roll.  Why do you even listen to "jambands" if you can\'t take the jam?  For me that\'s the most exciting part of any song. It\'s musical birth: sometimes you get an ugly baby, other times a meh baby, but it\'s all worth it in the end for that blond haired, blue eyed gem. (SEE Great Went Gin, Breakfast 1/26/01 Rufus>Mooboo\'s, Bisco 10/20/00 Very Moon>Bernstein Chasnoff).

PS
I too will be a last minute voter/tiebreaker...

I\'m not accusing you specifically, but I hope all of the "last minute" voters are still going to vote for their favorite and not the one that is more interesting in terms of causing/breaking a tie.

What!? Straight up shenanigans. At about 13-14 minutes I have a throbbing bone-diggety but am still patient to burst whenever they decide to. 9.20.07 says it all. The jam builds, climaxes gloriously, and I realize this is exactly why I listen to The Breakfast. You either need Viagra, sir, or you\'re walking around with a terrible case of jam-band-blue-balls. Or probably more painful -- Breakfast-blue-balls. You\'ve just denounced perhaps their greatest strength Yoda.

23-22. This is juicy.

ya no kiddin...

I think I\'m leanin towards OE for the fact that, like Booztravlr, I find it appropriate to root for the team that beat my team, so I can say I\'m the second best team.  Except for rooting for the yankees, which i never do under any circumstances. ever.

Oh ya, plus the, "whats hot now?" factor.   OE is owning, and Mooboos is collectin dust.
taints rule, gypsies drool!

I should probably not even mention this because I want OE to win but...

anyone asking "where is Mooboo\'s lately?", has NOT listened to the syracuse show from last month. SICK VERSION.
