You can pretty much go right down the list.

Maybe they don’t sound good to opera singers but if your comparing phish and breakfast vocally
Phish is cruising down the highway at 85 mph in a $250,000 Bentley smoking a blunt of sour diesel and the breakfast is pedaling a tricycle on the side of the road.

Phish sang well and knew their limits most of the time.
The Breakfast sing well.

Ouch.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

That comment was unfair to The Breakfast.  If you want to say Phish is that good that\'s fine, but The Breakfast are not that bad.  I already went over this earlier and it\'s getting boring, but the bottom line on Breakfast vocals are

1. Always at least servicable
2. At times very good
3. Ginormously improved since the early days
4. Still getting things together with Matt...check back in 6 months
5. Not as good at singing Phish songs as Phish.

if phish gets back together for a "hey we\'re old and overpriced, watch us jam on piper" tour next summer and overshadows the Breakfast\'s "most amzing music ever played, and < $20 per show" summer tour, i am officially tossing round room and undermind in a f\'ing bonfire. (alright fine, i did that the first time i heard those festering turd albums)
