Discussion last night was that if we could get a decent pull here, its ZEITS SE HWEE Toad\'s Place.

:hscratch:

eeehhh....  177 paid at Toad\'s 10-25, decent pull in a 1,400 theatre?  Not buying it. Sorry. Not even close.

Ok, people held off Toad\'s to hit later stops on run, and it was Thursday.  This is the Friday after Thanksgiving with what I assume will be great press from Burlington, but still...

Believe, there\'s no loyalty to Toad\'s clouding this opinion either. I know they haven\'t always been kind to the Breakfast, but 177 paid brings out in the dick in venues.

What\'s being done to hype this?

first off, the Breakfast are playing at the Fairfield Theater\'s Stage One in Fairfield, the actual 1400 person theater is in Bridgeport. Not sure how that works but it does. Stage One is about 200-300 people tops. So, we have not to worry about filling up the theater, just need to get heads to drive to Fairfield.

What we need to get done is to promote this show in all ways possible. That part of the state can be trouble but we need to get it done somehow.

I talked to the powers that be and the only promotion we are going to have for this show is what we get our of .info, since the promo lists basically for CT are all of .info and not much else.

Ideas?

Think my (expired) Fairfield U Student ID will work? It\'s worth the $2 savings.

or, what he said. ;)

If you scroll down on the main page, you will see a video link to one of the inner glimpse pieces I uploaded to youtube. But the link isn\'t to the one I made, it\'s a copy that they posted. They ripped it down, recompressed it, and reuploaded it just so they could put their own name on the damn thing! It looks like crap now. :banghead:

Oh, I know, but I would hope they would have just linked to the one that was already there and kept a little bit more quality rather than branding it to themselves. It would be like you finding one of the shows you did a matrix on available as a mp3 at a super high compression. It\'s just depressing that people don\'t care about quality.

I couldn\'t resist picking out the exact seats I wanted.

It didn\'t seem that there were any pre-sales at the time I got mine.

For the band it might look better if there was at least some pre-sales.
