@ BEER JUBILEE

This is a best guess at the lyrics from the recording.

???? Guinness, flowin\' from the tap
???? Guinness, flowing from the tap
Well that\'s what we want, \'cause the yellow stuff is crap

Black and tan, soak the Irish sap
Black and tan, from the Irish land
Watch my friend get drunk and start to play his lap
Play his lap, hey!
[Adrian does a drum solo by slapping his quads]

????, thrown down one by one.
????, thrown down one by one.
Now lets see those sweet leafs, leads to so much fun.
Play on Jordan on the harmonica
[Jordan harmonica solo]

Wolfman Jack, blasted at his pad
Wolfman Jack, blasted at his pad
When the music\'s over, lets all go out and get trashed.

This is my favorite Breakfast song of all time.  It was an acoustic encore bustout at Pearl Street downstairs in 2000 during the Amherst/Northampton heyday.  It was basically inviting the entire audience to my house for the afterparty.  And since the show was about 200 people and the party was 300-400, it\'s safe to say that pretty much everyone came.  Good times.

there is an excerpt from verse one in the middle of the 1000th show video montage
"i heard that after he crossed the finish line he proceeded to wrestle down and pin a full sized grizzly bear"- ds673488

"if i listened to the distance on repeat, i\'d be wearing yellow jerseys like a motherfucker" - zuke

only played once? i guess it\'s like tricky ways older cooler brother who dropped out of elementary school and became a crack dealer in willimantic, only to impregnate some old willa-rican who would eventually get struck by lightning while pushing her shopping cart across preospect st., leaving poor beer jubilee to raise their only child to become to bouncer at a local irish bar where colllege kid jocks with popped collars and wearing makeup would hit on plstic blonde chix and drink bud lite. now he\'s just a faint memory n the family, while his younger bro rages on but never quite fit in.

Oh yeah, this is way better than Tricky Ways...this was one-time only all the way...they never made the mistake of thinking it was going to be a regular song like Tricky Ways or Za.  The best was a shirtless Adrian playing slap-rythm on himself the whole song.

I still can\'t believe that of all my insane Breakfast afterparties over two years, STAVEN GET THE FUCK OUT is the most enduring memory.  Well, I guess I can.  How about the earlier party where Staven was still partying at like 8am (I was asleep) and my neighbor threw beer bottles in the front door at everyone?  And then Freddie and Tim went and cleaned up the neighbor\'s yard.  How about the time I found Todd passed out in his driver\'s seat, door open, car running?  Or the time Tim and I had a freestyle battle for the ages using the rhyming dictionary?  Or all-you-can-drink Black-and-Tan on tap night?  Or all the people who got it on in my driveway?  Hey .info, raise your hand if you got it on in my driveway!  *18 hands go up*  hehehehe

STAVEN GET THE FUCK OUT!!![/B]
