i dont disagree with kobe taking the mvp award, but i think chris paul deserved it more

:that:

ok, i let it slide when gabo posted it, but now that it\'s been "yeah thated", i\'d just like to point out that both of you do, in fact, disagree with kobe getting the mvp award if you think chris paul deserved it more.

what a weird thing to say. twice.

I know Parker had a solid game last night, but I get the feeling he\'s intimidated by Chris Paul. Parker has always had that edge by handling every big PG opponent like ice (for example 2-time MVP Nash) but Paul changes his demeanor and he acts like a kid around a legend. It\'s exciting to watch considering they\'re my two favorite players.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

i heard eva longoria is considering switching partners to chris paul

on a more serious note, i think kobe did in fact deserve the mvp, he was unstoppable this season

its not that i dont disagree with him getting it, i guess i worded it wrong.  it had to either be paul or bryant, but it just seemed to me that paul had a lot less to work with and was able to almost get his team the best record in the west, one behind the lakers.  now kobe went from wanting to be traded due to the mess in la last summer, to gettting booed by his home fans on opening night, to taking the lakers where no one thought they could go this year, not even close.  too bad there they both had such good seasons, because i think they both deserve the award. if it were any other season cp3 would have swept the votes, but i agree kobe deserved it because he was phenomenal

tonight\'s game was pretty miserable. the scoreboard says 5 points, but it wasn\'t really that close at all. lakers came out on fire, but that died quickly when fisher got 2 fouls in the first 2 minutes of the game. pretty much all jazz from there. seemed like every time gasol touched the ball we was just yelling and turning it over. every time the lakers cut the lead to 5 or 3 points, you\'d blink and it was 9. tough one.

I was out to eat at a restaurant and the game was on behind me.  LAL was down close approx. 15 when I left, so 5 at the end was closer than what I saw.

The Celtics are likely to face a resurgent Lebron at home tomorrow.  The guy has not been a factor yet and that can\'t last for long.

Bah It went as expected at least as I thought it would.
They threw the best they had at the Lakers AT HOME and the Lakers really did not look fazed as they still had a chance towards the end.
I figured Utah would win this game as they have only lost 5 all year at home. I also figure the Lakers will win the next 2 and move on. This feeling was only solidified by tonight\'s game.

Nice to see the Celtics remembered how to play basketball in the 2nd half.
