Have any of you heard about Younger Brother or this Conspirator project (tDB keys/bass)?  I don\'t know either.

Conspirator is dope as hell.

haven\'t seen them in a while. i remember they were awesome when omen played with them.

haven\'t seen them since they opened for UM at Lupo\'s a few years ago, but I went specifically to see Conspirator and enjoyed their set thoroughly.

if they got russo and hamilton there as well, why not toss in an electron set as well?

i saw them on halloween this past year.... minus omen... plus most of the biscuits... and it was underwhelming at best.... they NEED omen

Likely more Zuke/Walsh content:

I just got an email about a show in SF Friday night.

The lineup is:

YOUNGER BROTHER (Live - Twisted, UK)
SHPONGLE (DJ Set - Twisted, UK)
PROMETHEUS (DJ Set - Twisted, UK)
CONSPIRATOR (with members of THE DISCO BISCUITS)

Have any of you heard about Younger Brother or this Conspirator project (tDB keys/bass)?  I don\'t know either.

edit:  I didn\'t read the entire email.  "Younger Brother LIVE BAND, which is fronted by Simon Posford and Benji Vaughn and their UK vocalist RU and will be backed by Marc Brownstein from the Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo from the Benevento-Russo Duo, and Tommy Hamilton of American Babies and Brothers Past."

did you ever make it to this show al? that was pretty much the lineup and camp, and pretty much the only reason i went. prometheus killed it, shpongle was amazing with Raja Ram, and Younger brother live was insanely tight but way too short. that weekend inspired me to buy tickets to see Shpongle\'s halloween album release party in London.... just gotta get a passport lol

Princess - for unknown reasons, I did not go to that show last year.

Probably should give myself a good kick in the pants.

I\'ve heard some tracks off lemonjelly.ky but don\'t recall exactly what my opinion was.

Check out St. Germain albums "Tourist" and "Boulevard" for some good downtempo, if you haven\'t already.  Those two never get old for me.

Haven\'t heard \'Boulevard\' but \'Tourist\' is good stuff.

Not sure if its been mentioned but Greyboy has some cool albums, \'Land of the Lost\' \'Freestylin\' and \'Greybreaks\'. I think he has a couple of newer albums but I can\'t comment on those.
Are you ser?

Most of Greyboy\'s stuff is great.

I saw him open for a Dutch Nu-Funk band I like a couple months ago and was a bit disappointed with his set - pretty much played all material from his record label (Ubiquity) that I already knew or other more discovered stuff.  I figured a guy like that one have some new and fresh material to wow me but it was really a lazy set given my high expectations.

Wasn\'t AC Slater the dude from Saved By The Bell?
The best music is essentially there to provide you something to face the world with - Bruce Springsteen

What the verdict on Future Rock?

Anyone seen them live?

They are playing here thursday might check it out.

Myspace tracks sounds kinda generic but kinda cool too.

I saw future rock in Chicago at a street fest. The set was only an hour but people were getting down. I think they are definitely generic as far as livetronica goes but they got me dancing. On a thursday I would suggest trying it out.
