:yoshi: Does anyone else live in San Diego?  I moved here a few weeks ago from Massachusetts and live at Leith\'s townhouse.  Every neighborhood but Leith\'s and a few west of the 5 seem rough.  I can\'t stop laughing when I hear Leith\'s peeps refer to National City as Nasty City.  :point:

I thought San Diego was one of the statistically safer large cities?

Do you like the town?

How is your job search going?  :duck:

Go to the El Cajon Wal Mart & find out.  Also, this guy from Pacific Beach asked for my number (I gave him a fake one) at the Mission Valley Mall then proceeded to show me the marks on his body where the bullets hit him.   One thing I worry about being deadly around here are Leith\'s farts.  I stepped out into the hallway & could smell it coming from his room.  I couldn\'t sleep the rest of the night & my sleeping pattern has been disrupted since.  :poopself: :crap:

I think being afraid of San Diego is pretty pansy.... I\'m going to assume that was a joke.

Leith is out right now, but when he gets back I will have him give you a little summary of the neighborhoods.  He probably knows a lot more about this stuff than I do.  Hopefully, your friend will like it here.  :out:

What Company is he going to work for Paul? That will give me an idea where he should look to live for a short commute, what is around the area for entertainment etc.

Well not all women can be rough and tumble horse riding broads like yourself Joce.
Oh and it was most likely not a joke. She probably is scared. :sigh:

I\'m going to be working in/near the La Jolla area at Qualcomm. I didn\'t really get a chance to scope the area. La Jolla is supposed to be one of the more expensive areas...The staffing girl at the company recommended some areas... Mira Mesa,  Carmel Valley, Sorrento Valley. Oh boy! Now the apartment hunt begins..

Oh so he is going to work within walking distance of me. The street Qualcomm is on is the street people park on to visit folk in our complex as we do not have visitor parking.
The places mentioned are all really close but fairly expensive but if he\'s working @ Qualcomm he should have no problem finding a place to live.
Actually had a Qualcomm engineer as a roommate a couple years ago and he just walked to work.
