I would think a run (in theory) would be more finacially profitable and generate maybe somore exposure than 1 show.  No one says each show of a run needs to be connected to the actual FF.  I know spreading it into a run may mean less people per show... but 1 show could limit peoples availability as well! Plus with a run you will get some people to chase them where ever they go... especially if their n00bs and they like what they see! Obviously this is ALL hypothetical...
Where to next?

can the run be epic too?  or is it only epic if it is one show.  would the individual shows in that case just be very very good?

the halloween show at then end of an epic run would likely be the most epicist ever since they would have been practicing every night and have the brilliant combo of firing on all cylinders from said practice crossed with being strung out from aforementioned epic run.

this conversation is devolving.

i think they should do but 1 halloween show, rather than a run. This will get everyone to the one show and it will be epic. the last 2 years the magic was somewhat lost due to the randomness of the locations of the halloween run.
:that:

this i completely disagree with.  if they limited it to 1 show, then it would be a lot harder for people to make it to that show since its halloween and thats one of the few nights a year you have options.  having it for a few nights has always been clutch because 1 you can have other halloween plans and still make a portion of the freakout, 2 it gives you the chance to dress up and celebrate halloween for more than just 1 night, and 3 if you want to do the whole breakfast run you have that option as well.

limiting it to 1 show will not give that show a likelihood to be more epic, just lower the amount of people who will be able to see the freakout do to conflicts.  in 2002, i was at moe. halloween and was able to go to the freakout the night after in providence.  in 2006, i was able to go to the freakout for both nights in new haven and syracuse and still see the biscuits halloween show in boston.  why limit it to one night when you can celebrate it as many times as you can?

The Breakfast, Kung Fu, Mondo Gekko Toads Place.

would rather get a dance untz sort of band in there such as the indobox instead of kung fu. (no offense, fu fighters..)

yes! interlocking breakfast box

so... should we stop fucking around and start making things happen or what? who\'s got the indobox connex around here?! (have they said anything about halloween? also, do they draw any sort of crowd to connecticut? how about to new york? i only saw them on the boat cruise that one time. maybe do something in nyc with wounded buffalo theory, too? they draw well in the city and have a hell of a projections guy. actually, he just did projections at camp bisco. just thinking out loud here... could be ser times.)

FYI Indobox has not figured out their Halloween plans yet.  Still in discussions.  They would be a good band to reach out to, but they will be the headliner.  Also, would most likely be in Boston area.
