B.B. King at the San Diego Fair

What a disappointment. He only plays a little per song.
He has a pretty tight band and when he did play it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!
He talked and told stories more than he played. Kind of bummed but it was still a decent show.

pretty much my exact complaint when he sat in with phish. i was psyched to see a legend when he first came out, then trey spent the next 20 minutes trying to get him to fucking play and he barely did..

well, i guess i\'m glad that "style" wasn\'t just reserved for phish. heh.

he was out playing with them for wayyyyy to long. Ya, it was cool when he first came out, but after 20 minutes, it got old

The guy is pretty old, he has diabetes and has to sit all the time.

Also his guitar playing has always been minimalistic. Basically and exclamation point on his vocals. That isn\'t to say that he can\'t jam but his style is more about emphasizing his vocals IMHO.

He is a legend and be glad you were able to see him before you can\'t.

I\'m still bummed I never got to a Ray Charles show.
