Sold out before show and there was a line of people out the door to the corner all night!
One of the biggest and most rowdy crowds I have ever seen there. It stayed packed all the way to the end. I think I have seen that like 10 times in the 16 or so years I have been going there.
It was also one of the best HBR shows I have ever heard. I am continually impressed by these guys and their show. Erik played all sorts of instruments and at one point was jamming the Kazoo and it was actually perfect for the song.

i can\'t believe this band is so popular. i was so not impressed when i saw them about a year or two ago... but good for them.

yeah, but it was so not good that i can\'t bring myself to see them again... i\'ll check out some archive shows and maybe give \'em another go though....

That\'s why I have a 2 show rule for any band I see for the first time.

yes, true. i even walked out of a breakfast show early once b/c i thought they were sucking so badly and i preferred to be home sleeping. (lion\'s den a few years ago. terrible.)
