it\'s not quantity of notes for me, it\'s more interesting, off the beaten path chord progressions.  things that would make me think hard about improvising over them.  lotta notes can be practiced to the point where you can do it in your sleep.  chord changes that really keep you on your toes is where it\'s at.

its true.  sometimes it kinds ruins things for me when i listen to music.  especially being in the production end of things.  i\'ll listen to a track and instead of thinking "thats a good song", i\'ll think, "gee, i would have compressed the snare a little more and rolled off the bottom end around 150Hz, and the reverb bus on that background vocal should come down 3 or 4 dB."

i love tribal and all, and its a great tune, but i feel puppetry has more a chance to go in different places and travel in unchartered territory.  and i like that about it.
