um is definitely a talented band. maybe you just caught them on an off night. don\'t write them off just yet!

i just got home from the cabin party w/ brother\'s past. it was amazing!! those guys are really good, very radioheadish. and also really nice people as well. the cabin was perfect. it\'d be great to have bp, the breakfast and another comparable band to play there.

Whatever! I just know that I did not like what I heard and yeah maybe I caught \'em on an off nite. From what I have read of their performance from fans of theirs though, that seems to NOT be the case. I guess I was seeing UM @ their best and for me it was not good enough to justify spending any $$ on. I def. believe they are MUY talented and do rock in their own way, it is just not for me. Too much composition and not enough song in them for me.
