We just wanted to share our appreciation for the guys in The Breakfast. Believe it or not we have known each other for quite a while, and have always been impressed by their kindness and humble attitude, especially for being the monster players and powerhouse of a band that they are! Their fans are truly a mass of positive energy and emit a family vibe and support that every and any band in the world wishes for! We truly appreciate the oppurtunity to play for you and hope that we gained some new friends/fans in the process!
That being said.........We would like to make sure that all The Breakfast fans; wether you have heard of us or not, like us or not, or could care less, understand that our upcoming show together at Mexicali Blues on Sept.13th is NOT goin to be an opening slot for TB! They are playing first, BUT the show is being promoted by us and everyone else, as far as we can control, as a Co-Bill. The order of the bands is in no way reprsenting a hierarchy of any kind. This is our home town venue that we have been playing at for too many years to remember, and The Breakfast are being the egoless people that they are by playing the first slot. Their set length and time was determined by them and they are playing equally as long as Jounce, not a short opening slot. Jounce is playing at the Wormtown fest earlier that day and logistically and otherwise it made sense to do things this way. So fear not there will be a hearty serving of the Breakfast at Mexicali!!! Anyway, just wanted to clear up any confusion about the upcoming show and say THANKS FOR LISTENING!, HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!!!!!!
