actually they played it on 4/30, so you can listen to it on mike deary\'s audience recording. There is no audience recording from the second night and the soundbaord will not go on archive.org until tim says its ok to put it there.

And if you want a definitive performance of the song check out 2/12/04 -  tribeca rock club. That is my favorite recording of this song and my favorite show of 2004 so far. Its highly under rated and everyone should go download it immediately.

since the song itself is so great, i base its quality on Saquoia trees solo or the state I happen to be in when its played...love the tune

Another gauge for a great Scheme is how hard Tim rips up the 2nd half of the song (usually right after the drum solo).

In your opinion which show was the best GSOT that you\'ve heard?

Personally I enjoy the one from Jam Nation on March 11, 2001.  I really like the piano solo before the explosive ending.  Maybe because Ive been listening to this one for over 4 years, it holds a special place for me.

sadly i\'ve only seen one and that was 3.04.05 toads place.

i like the early schemes.  theres a rudy\'s show from 2.24.00 that has a great scheme>fire to open the 2nd set.  that version of scheme is the one i learned to play it from.

I need to check out that one.

I really like the Scheme from the 3-17-01 show at Tobacco Road.  Absolutely ripping guitar in part 2 of the song.

11-17-00 Butterfield has a great Scheme too (along with great performances of Rufus, Stash, Son Of Simpleton, Mayfly, Gladys etc.), though no one taped it other than my friend.

You can download MKW ACT from http://www.etree.org.  It converts .shn files to wav.  If you need help just let me know.

How do I convert it to MP3 from there?  I\'m about as technologically illiterate as can be.

I better bulk up on archive.org downloads before I move to the mean streets of Oakland in a couple days (no internet access for at least a week I\'d presume).

tim told me about this one.   him and sequoia said it was the most INTENSE grand scheme of all time.  all that was said was that " we were definetly on something" for this one.

You can convert them to MP3 for your own use but dont trade or give out any MP3 versions.  Now that I think of it the best tool for you to use is a tool called dBpowerAMP Music Converter (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm) .  It is a great converter and very easy to use.
