Pork Tornado
-
wait.who?
-
can\'t wait till I can hear it live. I need to relisten to the version on archive.org, so I can get a feel for the song.
-
We were all describing it to people as a Black Sabbath song you never heard before. It is a fairly apt description of the song so far.

Well the opening beat is very reminiscent of War Pigs to me. So if that helps.
-
I\'ll definitely have to listen to this tonight after work. I\'m very excited for the new tunes.
-
greatest song!! kinda hear a sweet emotion-ish sound for a second. def. a sabbath sound, maybe sabbath bloody sabbath era......
-
neat discriptions thanks!
-
sweet emotion???????????? i think it\'s ron\'s best song yet.
-
It\'s a Pork Tornado cover.
-
OK, alright, it is NOT a Pork Tornado cover. I gotta cut back on the hijinx, too many newbs around these days for that stuff ;)
-
You\'re just upset because no one gave you a " " :P
-
The first part of the song is definetly "War Pigs", the second part of the song is familiar too. I just can\'t put my finger on it.
-
i think it\'s ron\'s best song yet.
:that:
Listened to it about 10 times so far. LOVE IT!!!!!!
-
haha, i never got a chance to see them, ive heard them, it sounds hilarious. havent heard the cover yet.

listen to the solo or jam from Sweet Emotion and tell me it doesn\'t sound exactly like Intension. It sounds like a Sabbath song you never heard before, because Aerosmith wrote it first.

Dude you are showing your severe lack of music history knowledge here.
For your information Sweet Emotion was released on Toys in the Attic in 1975
By then Black Sabbath had released Black Sabbath, Paranoid, Master of Reality, Vol.4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and finally fucking Sabotage in 1975.
All these albums laid the foundation for Heavy Metal and punks like Areosmith to copy.

Nah, if I was looking for anything it was a "shut up, no it isn\'t" but after sleeping on it overnight I woke up in a coldsweat-laden panic that some kid was gonna read it and tell the world that The Breakfast covers Pork Tornado, and that wouldn\'t be good at all.
-
i think youre alittle too wound up...have a drink, not worrying about 2 black men in a band with another scruffy drummer singing about negroes
-
Igzi I totally hear what you\'re saying and I agree totally. It\'s a weird combination of the ending chord progression of "Sweet Emotion" and the post chorus riff jam of "War Pigs".. The ending is killing me though, I just cant figure out what it reminds me of...

you completely missed the point, mr. rock historian.
-
Oh well unless your point was that Aerosmith are nothing but 2 bit copycats w/o an original riff in their bones I guess yeah I missed it.
It sounds like Black Sabbath and if it sounds like Aerosmith at all it is because of the Sabbath influence on them. I can hear the Sweet Emotion tinge in parts but the song as a Whole is more like Sabbath than Aerosmith.

Fixed it for ya! ;)

@ INTENSION
When I feel like I can’t take
Too much more of this life
I transform myself to another face
Who can make me feel alright
Anger tastes so sweet
It\'s such a rush
When I think about the space I left behind
I can\'t help but realize
Life isn\'t what I expected it to be
But hey now what can I do
Many times I\'ve tried to keep it caged
Only to acquiesce
When I ask myself who here is to blame
The answer stares me in the face
Victory to rage
It\'s such a rush
All these emotions are real and I can\'t deal
With everyday banal life
So many things are distracting me from what is
Real and the things I love
-
It\'s funny that I made my way back to this thread 49 months to the day...only to say...you ain\'t seen nothin\' yet!!! ;)
-
hahaha. This song has been around for that long? Maybe heard it once or twice. Damn guess 2006 and 2007 might not have really happened.
-
they were playing it quite often from the release of moxey to ron\'s last show. it was also the only song played by the breakfast w/ ron after he left the band at the warehouse.
-
if anything its a rip off of the entourage theme..
