am i insane or was there a LDZ before see the light?
and by before i mean after
p.s. nasty show!! thanks for the dvd chris
-
there was defintely an LDZ, but it was between late & the great and hdx. :)
i\'m still a little too tired to go into song by song detail (but hey, at least we made it home before the sun was all the way up!) but overall i\'d say the show was pretty good but not one of my top 5. i felt like they were a little off at points and that the energy started to lag towards the end. not surprising considering the crowd wasn\'t that huge by that point and that they\'d put so much into the puppetry, see the light, escher\'s 2 and OVEREXPOSURE, which was by far the monster jam of the night. as for the crowd, everyone that was there was way into it, but a lot of the crowd left after the local openers were done. heard something about a party most of them were going to... anyway, cool bar, great sound, really liked the light show, jill still thinks a keyboardist is imperative, larry\'s really does have the best cheese steaks, and of course, the music lifted our souls!
it was great seeing everyone, have fun tonight!!!

from tricky ways on it went:
tricky ways, see the light (inverted), ldz > eschers 2, vermont > OE > LATG > HDX, Man in Me, Asscracks
just to correct things... great show!!!!!!
-
you may be right, i just thought it was after the smoke break.
i\'ve been known to be wrong before, though...

fierybilly is right except there was a superfly phaddy phat between man in me and asscracks. i aquired ron\'s setlist and if i could work my scanner i\'d post it
-
superfly was the encore
-
yeah, superfly was definitely the encore. but beyond that i\'m apparently not much help!
i found out why it was a 21+ show, as opposed to an all ages one. if its all ages there, you can\'t drink in the room with the music! so, on second thought, long live 21+ shows! ;)

I had a set list. They changed it around while on stage, as per usual. I liked the addition of Wild Pack.

Just wanna say I brought my uncle to this show. We\'ve gone to a bunch of Phish/moe. shows together and this was his first Breakfast show. He kept saying the whole way home how blown the fuck away he was. He was saying stuff like "Tim is insanely fluid on the guitar," "Adrian is a monster on the drums," "Ron sounded perfect all night long," "Why the fuck aren\'t people out seeing this shit??" and things of that nature. If you were at the show (the 50 or so of you) you probably saw us up front on Tim\'s side. He can hardly wait till they come back to Philly and he\'ll most likely be coming to the Asbury Park show with myself. He loves Moxie Epoxy, was happy as hell when Gavin handed him the Noho and Burlington DVDs for free, and is gonna listen to more shows on the archive now that he likes them so much. A new fan!! :)

yeah, i was watching him throughout the night. he was definitely blown away and having a blast!

:that: Maybe this time we can find it a bit easier!!! If you think Boston is tough...try finding your way through this part of Philly!!!
