I know one guy who picked Monmouth. Oh yeah! I\'ll gladly add one point to my total. No really, it\'s no trouble at all. Pitchie\'s in the lead! The rest of the field trembles! Albany 95, UConn 37! Let\'s go Red Storm!

:that:

Also, the money pool has ZERO entries! But, I was expecting that, oh well, I\'ll try again next year. I still recommend if people are going to fill out brackets to do so anywhere and everywhere with sillyness, there are plenty of prizes to be won on the intraweb with free entries (and I have yet to fill out one)

for those filling out brackets on ESPN and want to join the group, search as stated above, password is: surreal

The Yahoo! group will be the official .info Pool though, for bragging rights and such.

there is no more $5 entry pool! No interest. But the group on ESPN is open for those filling out silly amounts of brackets (like me, cos I had nothing to do at work yesterday) on multiple sites. The Yahoo! Group is the Official .info Pool for bragging rights (see Drew\'s entry)

Iowa was my first Elite 8 team to bite it, but surely won\'t be the last.

Meanwhile, even though I picked them, good riddance to my second most-hated Big East team: the Seton Hall Pirates. Consider me the conductor of the Wichita State bandwagon.

Have you ever heard of anyone completing a perfect bracket prior to the tournament?  I\'m wondering what the probability (stated as odds) would be.

for the record, those perfect brackets on espn on fake. this was actually on the local news last night, they had somebody do the math. While I do not remember the exact number, it was said you have a better chance of hitting Powerball than picking a perfect bracket. I think the odds number was something like: 9,235,567,326,874,546 to 1, no joke, it was definitely over a trillion to one.

Forget trillion.  The number of ways you can fill out a bracket is 2^63 or 2X2X2 etc. 63 times.  The number is approximately 9.22337204X10^18 or 9,223,372,040,000,000,000 which I guess you could read as "9.22 million-trillion".  You could run an office pool with a million people in it a year and it could very reasonably take 9 trillion years of that pool for someone to pick a perfect bracket.  Stat-man\'s advice: Don\'t believe any perfect bracket story you ever hear.

the winner gets to put

Winner of the 2006 thebreakfast.info NCAA Tournament Pool in their signature if they so desire, otherwise they get nothing.

I am guaranteed to not win. I am in 5 pools including this one and am in 1st place in 3 out of 5 of them, which basically means I am doomed. Anytime I have ever been in first through the first weekend in years past I have ultimately lost and tossed the sheets in the trash after week 2 of the tournament, this year will be no different.

Two of the greatest finishes in NCAA Tournament history. First, Texas wins with three at the buzzer, then a total fold by Gonzaga at the hands of relentless UCLA.

I picked the entire Final Four!!!

In the Beanpot.

But for real, it looks like 1 guy on Yahoo incredibly picked the entire Final Four.  Someone named Tim McKenna.  The public tourney message board on yahoo has been swept away in comments for him.  He\'s now in second overall.  Go to overall leaders to see the board, or view his full picks here:
