Title: 2006 Winter Olympics Anyone?

So the Olympics are in Italy and seeing as there is kind of an Italian influence on this board, is anyone watching?
I know I have only caught some Hockey and one or 2 sking events.
Just wondering?

I haven\'t watched anything in the Olympics except a short stint of curling. I couldn\'t even tell you who has the most medals.

I have watched a little.. Not all the time.. When I was I kid I had a black and white tv and used to watch abc wide world of sports every weekend. I would watch alot of skiing and stuff like that. I still like to watch the skiing a little but its not quite the same...

thats kind of an asshole remark. he was betting on the super bowl, youve never engaged in any friendly betting over anything such as the SB? i guess the ruskies beat them, so now NA is completely out of it, its an all European medal matchup. i have my money on Svvvvvveeeeeeden

Caught some of the skiing. From what I saw, the conditions SUCK!!!!! Surprised noone has been near death yet!!

I saw curling for the first time the other night... I can\'t believe that\'s an actual Olympic sport - it\'s highlarious to watch.

there\'s basically nothing else to watch when you only get NBC, CBS, and FOX. so i\'ve been watching alot of it. I hate that they never give you the hockey highlights during the primetime broadcast though, they mention that this team beat that team, but they never show you anything. And I also can\'t stand the commentators, they make anything and everything seem like a heart-warming moment and are very monotanous (sp.?) in there tone when doing so, it\'s pretty pathetic.

I do watch the women\'s figure skating though. Some nice revealing outfits they wear :)

and short strack speed skating has caught my eye this year, its decently exciting when they start wiping out into the boards, and the women skaters are pretty cute in there spandex, not like the other speed skaters with there tree trunk, rock solid legs.

one of my friends  and I were watching the Olympics when we were realy stoned and curling was on. We started talking about starting a curling team on our friends pond in the winter time. I think we could take a gold. It looks  easy to do it can\'t be to hard. your just sliding a rock
