while not a huge fan of the song itself, GBFBITS always goes to great places, and gets my vote in this one. that said, LL needs to come back.

I have no explanation for my Love Lake vote.  I\'m kind of surprised myself.

Some of the jams definitely have more potential on this one.

Heard Adrian in the lot tell Walsh that they get it requested all over. Though, they will not play it because they haven\'t worked on it in so long. They just can\'t play a song that they haven\'t worked on. Thats basically what I heard. Although, I\'d like to hear it again.

Voted and predicted Great Big. Love Lake\'s cult status keeps it close. There\'s several soon-to-be-first-round-losers that I would have voted over Great Big.

#3 for GBFBITS is disrespectful to #4 The Chase and #5 Score.  Plenty of underdogs (#9-16) that would beat Great Big in my book.

Drew,

Are you hinting at "who the hell picked these rankings"?

Great Big\'s three seed is almost as bad as UConn getting the two spot in this year\'s NCAA

More of a kind-hearted "I disagree on many accounts with whomever picked these rankings\'.

GBFBiTS...as Gencs said this song makes me feel something special is coming everytime I hear it begin.

That said Love Lake **NEEDS** to come back...Space you are right, Animal said that is one of the most requested songs out on the road but they haven\'t played it in so long that they aren\'t comfortable with it...I say get it back soon.

People, stop confirming your own statement.  It is dumb.  The only thing you are confirming is your ineptitude in understanding the concept of confirmation.  Confirmation is when a second party agrees that an idea is true.  If you agree with somebody else\'s idea and you want to sound trendy, then quote them and just write "confirmed."  But don\'t confirm yourself.

While I happen to agree in this particular instance, the bottom line is that we could have had a 10,000 post "How To Seed the Songs" thread and solved nothing.  Once you get past the 1\'s, 2\'s, 15\'s, and 16\'s, you\'ve got 48 songs that each could outplay the other 47 on a good night.  The selection committee was in the war room for hours, and though it ultimately became a dictatorship, that was probably the best way to do it.  We thought about coming up with an SCS (Song Championship Series) formula to rate the songs, in which case we would have just announced what the best songs are.  (Marcial would\'ve loved it.)  The fan poll would have counted 25%, but ultimately you wouldn\'t have had nearly as much fun as you are now.  (The Wolfman rankings were going to count 15%...eat your heart out Jeff Sagarin.)  So just enjoy it and let the games be played on the field.

To err is human.  To learn from one\'s mistakes is true wisdom.

Now all of you trendy-ass motherfuckers go back to your little trendiness contest with your "confirmed"s and your "owned"s and your "wait who?"s and your "brah"s and your catchy new smilies and your self-quotes and your posts where you just quote someone without saying anything because you can\'t come up with anything original to say.  What a bunch of trendy owned brahs. Wait.....who?  Everyone.  Confirmed. :fucktard:

Oh by the way Fiery Ball takes out Love Lake but will have the greatest struggle of any 3 seed as the tournament progresses.

I\'ve always accepted Wolf\'s bitterness and have become accustomed to his desire to ruin other\'s fun. This is due to his habitual use of chronic and deep-rooted psychological issues that have been entrenched in his brain for years. Seth is a long-established and seasoned cranky pants. He should lose the hard-shell attitude and get his psychosis fixed. His act has worn thin. We\'ve settled for his invalid style of humor for too long. He’s unquestionably dyed-in-the-wool. Proved.

Jewrassic 5...That\'s pretty funny.  I was thinking HWA myself...Hebs With Attitude.  It\'s funny how I can\'t stand Judaism and I haven\'t set foot in a temple in about 8 years, but I\'m still the resident Breakfast Heb anyways.

In the meantime, I will continue my aspirations to be Italian.
