Didn\'t see this listed on the band site, here, or jambase last week, or maybe I overlooked it. But I am heading up to Montreal Wednesday for a little trip so I checked the le Swimming website to see if anyone decent would be playing while I\'m up there, and I see The Breakfast on their calendar for the 26th. . .Porters>Canadia, interesting weekend. . .

id love to go, im only bout an hr away and we just got back from spring break so this would be the first weekend back, dont know if i will though since I\'ve never been before and probably would be unable to find my way around and i hate getting lost especially in a foreign country such as Montreal, Quebec. who knows?
I just got back from montreal on friday, it is one of the easiest cities Ive ever been to to get around.
I told a friend from up there I\'d be back up for the show, but I\'m pretty sure thats not gonna happen anymore after how much money I spent in two days up there this week. Guess its about time to make a Staven visit this weekend with a side dish of Porters

actually, not so..
one of the highlights of my trip up to the non-breakfast show in montreal last year was the strip club(s)..
the cover charge for the better of the 2 clubs we went to (super sex), i believe was $3 *canadian*. that\'s compared to the $10-$15 just to get in the door of the clubs around here..
also, the club had about 20-30 girls working at one time, and i\'d say about 90% of them were \'tens\'. down here, you get about 6-8 working at once, and most of them are :yack::sadban:
going to the clubs in montreal made me not want to ever go back to the ones down here..

I went to Montreal a couple times, (SuperSex) awesome. Some of the most unbelievable shit I have ever seen, too racy to explain in the boards. Plus our dollar is worth twice theirs, how can you beat that. I haven\'t had that good of a time out with the boys in a long time, but my bachelor party is coming up so that should compete. The only other place that rivals Montreal is Providence. Whose ret?

Fair enough... but I think it is tips (and drinks) that makes them get expensive.

theres some stip clubs that have no cover, but they expect you to tip the bouncer, so I guess it works out the same. they usually have a 2 drink minimum and their beers are overpriced, and the only time Ive been to one was three years ago and it was $10 canadian for a lap dance where you could actually touch the girls (I, for the record, did not obtain one of those). Not my scene, I guess, havent been to the catwalk since I was 18.

Providence, eh? I heard they were skanky here, been here for 3 years and havent even thought about goin to any of them. Hell Foxy Lady is all of 3 minutes away, too. I think the one acrosss from the civic center that has a hotel for $29 a night turned me away from wanting to go to any, cos I\'m sorry, thats just disgusting, reminds me of the Branford motel.

so whose actuaually going to make it ot the show tomorrow? does anyone know what time the breakfast is go on stage? its just a short drive for me from the states i cant pass it up. i havent been to canada since i was a kid, what do i need for identification to get over the boarder?

it will be interesting to see what kind of show they pull of tonight. if they follow the same path, canada will be better the porters. anything can happen tonight, should be fun!
