I wish I knew what a toy guitar was/sounds like....

If Dobz was on congas for the bounty of the second set, who was doing sound?

a lot of holes to be filled....

hopefully Fitzy has an audio recording, and possibly even video....
and maybe Todd has some pics....

this show was sick. definately the better of the two this weekend. Someone in the crowd handed tim a toy guitar that had pre recorded guitar samples that played when you pushed the buttons. Tim held it up to the vocal mic during a short drum solo before spunk.

Dobz was only supposed to sit in for language, but they had so much fun playing together that they decided to do one more and he just ended up staying on stage for what was the rest of the set. Then everyone sang happy birthday to tim before the encore.

I taped the show, audio only. one other taper, but he lost the recording due to a hard drive crash. there are also some pictures.

My ears are still ringing! And that was same sketchy driving in the blizzard around Syracuse (which was still there on the way back)...

But the show was sick, definitely worth the tooth-grinding drive. I\'d never been to Electric Company before and I thought it was pretty nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. What sucks is that I could have brought along a few other friends who are under 21.. it is pretty lame that Electric Co. wouldn\'t even give them stamps or wristbands for the show. But it was nice to see the place pretty much filled up and the energy was great.

Escher\'s Etchings is always a favorite... Phaddy Boom Baddy made me want to get LIT as always. They didn\'t play Beef Barley last night? I swear I heard Beef Barley...

IMO this should not be listed as the drum solo. Everyone was kind of jamming along with the drums and then Tim played that funky ass toy guitar. There was in fact a drum solo at the end of Beef Barley though. And a fuckin\' sick one at that!!!! This Beef gets my vote for top 5 of all time.

p.s.- GET THIS SHOW!!!!!

As a special mass birthday offering...bnp\'s for anyone interested...todd@tkaphotos.com
