I: LDZ > Fairy, Dig, Message In A Bottle, No Regret > See The Light* > Attraction To Shade Ditty > Frankly Po Zest**, Vera Steet, Score, \'NBC\' Theme tease > Gladys Pimp & Kangaroos With Me > Soul Sacrifice^, Taboo Or Not Taboot^^
* \'Part 2\' only; with \'Gypsy Queen\' teases.
** with vocal intro and outro.
^ with Drum Solo.
^^ with \'Give Up The Funk\' (Parliment) teases.
off. the. hook.
last night truly was a warmup. this was the real deal. great crowd, and the guys were on fire!! incredible show.
-
i agree...seems they picked up where they left off last night (getting the MIAB that was the potential next song last night) and havin fun. the Frankly vocal intro was brought up as we were a little side tracked looking for the Vibes last night and commin up with corny ideas for songs. Was anticipating a chill slow maybe jazzy 2 hours but they ripped through the set and Adrian honestly killed it!! awesome weekend. Living room > Vibes> Guilford Green ..and the weather held..couldnt have been better.
-
This was the only show I saw this weekend and it was tremendously satisfying. Message in a Bottle has some of my favorite drum parts ever and this version ripped shit. Gladys had something for everybody, starting out rocking, experimenting with feedback, then transitioning to funky down. The crowd gained steam as the show progressed and was at its peak during Taboo. Not your typical Breakfast venue, but your typical Breakfast performance: energetic, precise, joyful, fuckin rockin.

Soul Sacrifice = Killer. FPZ = Funny as long as it\'s not permanent.
And most importantly, the band didn\'t give in to the shouts for "Phaddy Boom Baddy". Thank God.
Who would of thought that out of the three shows this weekend, the one to miss would be the Vibes?

yes and yes. adrian was incredible last night, and i couldn\'t take my eyes off him during MIAB. he definitely sounded like he wanted to make up for a rough night of playing someone else\'s kit at the vibes, and he certainly did just that..

exactly. definitely funny, but let\'s hope they don\'t \'Tony Danza\' it..
\'Even I don\'t get it...\' - Jordan
personal non-music highlights for me: dogs, and seeing our high school band teacher!! wow... :D

moms had a good time despite the stress from the potential rain. how many is this for Livie...5 or 6?
-
awesome show, great crowd! glad the weather held out. Killer version of Fairy!!
-
came to the show during fairy.....doesn\'t look like i missed much. A great show, but i wish they played for another 30-45 minutes seeing how the whole crowd was starting to get into it during glady\'s and taboot.
-
and they just picked up a few more fans (the newbie\'s who came with me)
-
As much as it was drenched in buffoonery, I enjoyed the vocal Frankly opening. A change-up. And an ensuing compact version.

Fred it was great meeting Livie.... she is so beautiful and so very sweet.... Too cute running around the Green with her and Sadie; hope she had fun- Sadie sure did!

Thanks to Fitzy for the disks last night. I just started listening to this show on my way into work today.
Mrs. Rooney with the classic intro (she should intro the band for every gig) "Tim, Ron, Jordan, and Adrian......The Breakfast!"
Sounds good. So far I just got from LDZ>Fairy (sweet transition) and a pretty ser Dig. The Message In A Bottle is nasty as well.
cant wait to get into the rest....

i believe it was lil\' livies 6th or 7th show..i know 2 uncle sam jams,a family jam, branstock,my jack n jill, guilford green, and i think somewhere else..shes lucky to be around such good music and good people, well cept for me,all the time..joc,livies been askin for sadie nonstop since you left!see yaal wednesday at richters>cliffys...anyone down??

My last breakfast show was the 6-11 Porters show. Since then I have been on a relentless schedule doing my part for Timmy Tour 04. And by my part I mean going to solo timmy gigs and getting really nice, screaming and yelling the first things that come to my mind, and at times busting out my own personal version of the humpty dance ("look like mc hammer on crack").
My biggest question mark was how is the breakfast going to sound after this little break they have had with Ronnie getting married and being away on his honeymoon and timmy out on the road a lot. I only imagined the sick music this band would make once back together again, and after finishing listening to the Gulford Green show, I am once again (as usual) BLOWN AWAY by the level of playing that our boys have risen to.
No Regret > See The Light* > Attraction To Shade Ditty > Frankly Po Zest**... ARE YOU SER? All the transitions were flawless and seamless (at least to my ears). The NoRegret>See The Light* with just the second STL part was something that I have heard of but never heard. Well its even more awesome then I had imagined. Then the Attraction>Po Zest....COME ON... pure insanity....
As for the NBC>GPATKWM just delightfull in that rock the funk out sort of way, and the transition from Kangaroos>Soul Sacrafice was music that I never knew the boys had in em...(suspected and suprised, but never doubt the new levels this band takes it to).....
