i was partying down pretty hard, but i think i remember it as frankly po.  i was calling it as first set opener during JAM > wtf, dunno why, but i heard it coming.

great crowd, btw. pawty time up in that joint.  as an attendee of both last *****, and this week, i\'m giving this week the nod. JAMZ were just better.

Week 1- A-
Week 2- A

this is on the A+, A-, A scale.

*edit: "week".  couldn\'t pretend as if my typo didn\'t happen.

Set II opener was definitely "Frankly Po Zest". I enjoyed the multi-cam webcast. Thanks A/V crew. "Cut Me Some Slack" had a "Tom Sawyer" Rush tease, in honor of Neil Peart\'s Birthday I am assuming. Happy Birthday Neil

Well the webcast worked beautifully.

This show was amazing absolutely blew away last week\'s show. Incredible jams and energy.

Existential Funk, Syncronicity II, and Tunage were all monsters. Scheme was beautiful!

This looked to me like "show of the year" or at least up there with Utica, Night 1 BreakFEST, and Big Up. Wish I was there in person! Next week for sure!

Need to add an asterisk next to Synchronicity II for best version ever played by any humanoids, holy moly!

shit man last nights show was what it\'s all about.  every song was jammed and slayed to the max but the tune sticking out the most to me was CMSS.  adrian went on a rampage at the end of slack and the looks on tim and dangle\'s faces were pure bliss watching the animal do his thing.  haven\'t seen him drum this ferociously in a while he was clearly feelin it last night.  crowd was weak at first but jammed pack by set break and carried on the rest of the night.  stella is way smaller than i thought and the crowd was really tight in the front so not much wiggle room but tons of energy.  also it was pretty sweet to be 6 inches away from tim shredding tunage (if it wasnt me it would have been anyone else)  great times hope to see more of YOU bfam next week.

One of the best Scheme\'s I\'ve heard. Good show. Synchronicity should be jammed instrumental. Sorry but I cringe every time I hear the vocals. Tough song to sing while playing I bet.

um, i don\'t feel that ANYONE can really sing that song very well.  i\'m gonna have to agree....with leith on this one (that\'s twice in two weeks might i add ;).  when i heard that they were playing this song again i had to go back and listen to the toad\'s halloween version, and the thought the music was great, the singing was much weaker than i remember it.  then i heard a new version of it and the music obviously much better given the time that\'s gone by, but the vocals still made me cringe.  there\'s certain notes that ron and chris come really close to hitting, but just can\'t.  it\'s nothing against them, they just can\'t, shit, i consider myself a pretty good mimic, and i can\'t quite get there without my voice cracking or going silent.  i thought chris had some parts that were sung very well.  it just seems that if you change how certain parts are sung it just wouldn\'t sound right.  i guess we are forced to deal with a few "unreachable" notes and be rewarded with really great playing.  i love seeing a band play a cover so well that they truly make it their own.

I\'ve heard Dangle do SyncII 3 times now and he kills it. He has to try really hard to do it and he puts 110% into it. Makes for such an intense performance. I think the guy\'s got a great voice.

Dangle SyncII vox > Sting SyncII vox

For Sync II if you were in the room, it killed, vocals included. I\'m not even that crazy about the song.

I think he has a great voice, and the sound at Stella\'s makes ALL their voices sound GREAT.  Jen and I were talking about that after last week\'s show.  He does a good job with it, it\'s a hard song to sing, it gets a passing grade, not an A.

Exactly the playing is spot on and untouchable but the singing not so much. Same with Ron and some of the covers he would sing.

I have to agree with that. I like his singing a lot( Where the fuck is Reel Time? ) and have to give the A for effort and having the balls to try and sing it in the first place.

Wish I could be going to these shows, my buddy Artie was there on his 23rd birthday, told me it was awesome. I love WTF, so pissed I missed it

I still think the tammany hall show in march was the best this year, but that may be based on personal experience

Barrels of electric cool-aid? Sounds like GOTV 2008. You might want to start with just half a dixie cup
