shouldnt that just be sleeping beauty and drunk monk ?  sleeping beauty was segued into and drunk monk probably had a 20 minute jam or something.  should we notate buquebus as queb > jam > queb > jam > queeb everytime for now on ?

Completely agree.  The only "jam" that should ever be noted on a setlist is one that begins a set or encore.

This is the way The Breakfast set lists have always been. I agree 100% with you both. Noting jam in between songs is generic. I also was brought up to think of > as a segue and -> jam but that seems to have gone the way of the dodo.

Not to hate on the tapers, but this drives me crazy on the older recordings.  There are like 20 tracks on a 10 song set.  A bunch of 8 to 45 second SCA and jam tracks

Whilst we\'re nitpicking, the songs encore should be "Night of the Thumpasorus Peoples" and "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)". But really I\'m just being a jerk because I missed out.

They are a jam band. There is no reason why it should be noted.

Really it should be Thumpasaurus > P-Funk Medley (We Want the Funk, Get off your ass and jam, Good to your earhole, Do That Stuff off the top of my head...)

Also it was Another Brick in the Wall > Merge, Beef was unfinished... maybe to be completed NYE? That would be sick!

Wow, I\'m still blown away by Saturday night. EC is quite the venue. Where else do they give you free food during the show? The last three shows I\'ve seen have been three of my fav Bfast shows ever, Utica, Asbury Park, Mill St. Shit Goddam! NYE Baby NYE!!

The opening jam was long and SFPF was a surprising first song and also had a nice jam on the tail end of it.  BB>Brick was mad funky and the included a crowd sing a long and extended outro jam into merge.  Metro was its normal beastly amazing self.  Gladys was another unexpected set opener.  The jam> SB was nasty with dangle throwing down real dirty fuzzy bass lines to lead into it. Have not heard that song in many years and it was so great to hear it again and with dangle who ripped it. DMB was above average version.  Rush was totally epic. They did the standard type I jam then a whole nother type II jam on top of that which I had never seen with that song before and it was great. Encore was a major dance party with the crowd really gettin down.  All in all good times and good tunes.  Have fun at New Years if you are going.

just wanted to thank the guys for a great night. that 15-20 minute brick was ridiculous. Great sized crowd where everyone was comfy but still felt like the place was full. I don\'t think it was taped. didn\'t see anyone taping. have fun at NYE. Wish I could join you guys. Hope everyone has a safe weekend! See ya sometime in 2010. Maybe at sterling this summer? wink wink??
