no klout, it is not.  however, i must admit it was great.  even those grumbling about it, myself included, couldn\'t say it wasn\'t really, really good.  def brought the energy up a notch.

yes, it gets new people who are there more into the show if they don\'t know all of the b\'fast songs, which might get them to come back,  and they usually are good at phish covers

good show all around.  The GBFB jam was nice, better than Let It Roll, HLH> DWD is kinda an odd pairing, since they have similar jam styles IMO.  it worked though.

merge was good, i\'d almost call it a medium merge, since i\'ve seen slower and obviously seen faster, the jam out of it though was priceless.  beef barley had a nice bass jam from dangaleese.  during the end of beef barley, i was sending \'Gladys Pimp\' vibes from inside my mind to Timmy and he delivered as only he can.

I was thinking it was smart to drop it at the end of the first set. It\'s an easy way to guarantee a good percentage of folks sticking around.

Last night was a lot of fun. Glad I made it to the show. Well played show start to finish. Properly constructed.

Great to hear Merge, Puppetry and Barley. Good time rocking and rolling.

Definitely drunk last night whacking the light board for the second set. Dobson and I made do with having no knowledge of what any of the buttons did.

BTW, "Rust" tease in HLH, it was pretty quick though....

I still can\'t believe they did DWD. And that Puppetry. Good god. I really like this band......a lot.

You sandwiched that rip nicely around the gooey apologetic center.  It\'s like you can start any horrible statement with "no disrespect"... and it makes it all right.

No disrespect, but yer mom\'s a dirty whore.  I wouldn\'t fuck\'er with yer dogs dick.  But no disrespect.

If you were not at the show, haven\'t heard the audio, or was just a bit waisted to remember, The Breakfast announced that their New Year\'s Eve show will be at Daniel St. and they will be doing three sets.

The show was fun. Crowd turnout was a bit weak for a friday show in CT. However, the music was good and the people that were there were having a blast. I think everyone had a smile on their face at one point or another. Musical highlight for me was (slow)Merge > jam > Puppetry. I was up at the bar when Down with Disease started and saw some new faces jumping and punching the sky with joy.

Maybe people will stop with the excuses and get out. This band is playing to well not to be noticed.

Little effort on the sales and marketing side and there will be a crowd. Do nothing and there will be no crowd. NYE has been announced early enough to promote it. Halloween is 4 weeks away and where is it again?

You might have the greatest product in the world but your branding sucks.

Spacey I don\'t think me or Stevie really deserve to be called out for making excuses. We both make it to a bunch of shows and I promote the band on the side in whatever free time I have and sometimes when I\'m burning time I should be working.

It\'s not like I see you at every show either, but I know you make what you can within reason.

Sometimes you get stuck at home for bullshit but unavoidable reasons. Definitely would have rather been at Daniel Street .... but I don\'t think I owe an explanation for missing this.

Listening now, sounds great.

i\'ve seen much worse turnouts at daniel street than the one on friday.

as far as the show goes, the merge->puppetry was by far the highlight of the night. i\'m sure of this because i loved it and mark hated it :). i hate to compare breakfast to biscuits, but that sequence reminded me more of a biscuits jam than anything i\'ve ever see them do.

and i can\'t say how nice it is to have some sort of light show going on. even the tiniest bit of effort on the light FX side goes a looooong way.

kinda sucks that it will be a little while before i see them again, but i\'m glad that the mini break allows for a little attention to be paid to adrian\'s side project. really excited for friday!

I agree. Even if it is a multi color disco ball on the stage.

If the band still had lights or the boards, it would be cool to have each show on the tour with a fan at the light board. Its only buttons and its easy enough to learn but difficult to master. But still, this might create some buzz about the band.

Lights by fans for the Live As Is tour.

Shit like this sounds stupid but I guarantee that it creates interest and brings people into the shows.

Crowd didn\'t seem like a deeeeeeeeuwzer... but then I was up in front looking forward most of the night.  Teddy\'s right the smile to wook ratio was high indeed, sometimes it ain\'t the quantity but the quality that counts... though a packed house would always be better for the band (as long as I can still get up front).  Missed ya at the show, but you looked comfy in that there Tux there!

"Live As Is" is digital only to the best of my knowledge. I was also confused after the stage announcement so I went to the merch table and asked for "Live As Is" and "Bona Fide" and had no luck. They did have some cool B\'fast tees that I plan on purchasing at the next show. Robin, if you see me at the next show, remind/force me to buy the \'cassette tape\' B\'fast shirt.

Like I said wooks don\'t pull this kind of shit. They\'d rather sell bomb headies and weak doses for tickets to the next Jerry Garcia Band show.

It was a dude. A dude who posts on this site and has been going to shows for many years. A dude who I know went to Daniel Street therefore I am posting this here for him to read. I know we\'ve all been fucked up and done stupid shit at one time or another. But when it comes to harassing my girl repeatedly for coke/porta-sex trade and starting to follow her to the point she had to run away and was creeped out for hours after, this isn\'t baseball. You don\'t get 3 strikes. Since you may have forgotten this incident and I can only assume you don\'t act this way on an everyday basis, maybe this reminder will cause you to reconsider how you treat women in the future. If drugs and alcohol impair your judgement to such an inappropriate degree I suggest a little detox before the next show. We will see each other again, he shall who remain unnamed unless I ever witness or hear about you treating another of our fellow female family like this again.

Enough said. Don\'t let it happen again.

I am a dude, been attending Breakfast shows for ages, and I was at Daniel St. If you are going to be this specific, please be a little more specific as this post might seem like you are pointing me out. I just want to state that it wasn\'t me. Sucks that it had to happen nevertheless.

Were you the only non-wookie dude at Daniel Street? What makes you think I\'m pointing you out? I\'m not looking for even an apology let alone people on this board to state that it wasn\'t me. I will not be more specific, and I will not call this person out. I have forgiven this person because most of us do dumb shit at least once in a while, although I doubt many of us have crossed this line. From what Ash told me this person was heavily inebriated, and I can\'t blame some dude for wanting to get down with my girl especially in that condition.

Unless you have a well-known coke problem and have been known to harass women in the past I don\'t see how anyone would think this was pointing you out.

No more "it wasn\'t me" ... this isn\'t a fucking witch hunt. Even if you come on here and lie and say "it wasn\'t me" I still won\'t call you out, so there\'s no point.

Whoever it was fucked up and I\'m sure it won\'t happen again. Case closed. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.

edit: Igzy your apology is appreciated but I\'m not talking about the couple dozen person gang bang that afaik everyone was consenting to. Separate incident brah.

Back to bidness...

Yeah, it was good to have Dobz on sound.  Jordan really came through loud and clear. The soundboard mix that he threw Matt\'s way makes this recording sound great.

Fans on lights!!  Way cool!  Count me in.  I know my way around a light board, but moving fixtures would be a new challenge.

Pre-sale for NYE sounds like a winner.  Do they do that at Daniel Street?

dudes who were at Daniel St, posted a show review on this thread before your callout, and have been attending shows for many years.

TeddyT,
Ren,
ChrisPitch,
Spacey,
Igzy,
FieryBill,
Zuke,
Bret,
The Breakfast.

Looking from the outside and reading your callout, these folks might be people I may want to stay away from even if the corporate is not listed (I really hope its none of them). Therefore I have to speakout for myself that it wasn\'t me. My apologies to the people I listed above, I hope you understand that I\'m just trying to cover my ass. I would hate to have galenas, mamalukabaya, or any of the fine .info she-ladies think badly or feel uncomfortable around me because of this specified callout. Again, my apoligies to the people I listed above.

Count me in for New Years. There are plenty of hotels in Milford that are just off the highway if you plan on spending the night in the area. So who\'s doing lights on new years?

The real question is when did the incident actually occur? Was it at Let It Roll (Porto Potties)?

Private Message to the individual. Deal with the situation head on.

Jesus Christ from what I heard that night I thought it was someone I\'d seen around at shows over the years. Teddy I knew it wasn\'t you I saw you over on the side of the show and you didn\'t even fit the description.

what ever. I didnt accuse anyone just had the strong impression it was someone I recognized semi-regular over the years and would be seein again. Ok maybe they weren\'t at Daniel St, but I don\'t think it was a "random" either. I wasn\'t even tryin to call anyone out, just sayin whoever it was (which I bet I will see again... I been around a little longer than the burrito) that\'s not proper shit.

Wrong place, wrong time. Yeah, my bad. Sorry Teddy if you thought I was accusing you, don\'t know why you or anyone would assume that I\'m pretty sure the only thing I said was that it wasnt a wook and someone I was pretty damn sure I\'d seen around. Okay I didnt know for sure if they were at Daniel Street. Wrong place, wrong time. Don\'t even know why I brought it up to be honest except I was pissed some one I don\'t think is so random pulled that shit.

I said it wasnt a witch hunt I don\'t know why so many people got involved behind my back. Fuck it I won\'t bother tryin to stick up for my girl anymore, she\'s pissed, I look like an asshole... sweet

Sorry again to anyone who felt accused, I wasn\'t even looking at the guest list of 8 or whatever people .... everyone knows half those ppl don\'t show up and a bunch of others do anyway. Sorry especially to Teddy since you think I was tryin to call you out, not my intent and I knew it wasn\'t you. I know its not a cool thing to have people think you did, not my intent. I hope you can accept my apology, I realize I handled this in a way that might have made people suspicious of each other and that\'s not really cool cuz I know it wasn\'t any of you guys I know just some fuckin kid I had the strong impression I\'d seen around. But I will leave it with an apology.

Tuna, you are a man for sticking up for your lady, its what any good guy would do. I didn\'t think you were accusing me since you had a good idea of who it was and I knew it wasn\'t me. I just didn\'t want anybody else reading this thread to have any "doubts" about innocent long time B\'fast fans that happened to be at Daniel St. thats all. Tuna, Pizzaburrito, PB4lyfe, and company, you guys are cool in my book for keeping the B\'fast scene alive in Northampton.

I haven\'t seen Robyn that drunk since the last Block Island tour. She and her future-hub were giving away hugs like there was no tomorrow. I did miss the part where she got kicked out though.
Anybody else catch the she-ladies at the bar making out at the end of the show? Its a rare sight to see at a sausage-filled Breakfast show :D

I liked the HLH->DWD in the first set.

I thought that in terms of "phishyness" of the jam, it was good in the number of notes played, and tim slew the solos, but the rest of the band lagged behind in tightness. Maybe it\'s the mix of my headphones, but dangle was a bit of a no-show in the jam.

Or it could be the song, because I always think that mike is a no-show in it too.

damn tuna that sucks man. nothing wrong with sticking up for your girl though.

all I know about this show is I found out about it from vallo asking if I wanted to carpool as I was driving to new hampshire, after which I promptly forgot about it again. The next day I meet up with gavin and he says "did you know the breakfast covered down with disease last night?"

my response, as anyones would be to such a statement was simple and consisted of only two words: "Bullshit gabbo."

turns out he was right. strange choice for a cover :wtf2:
