There was house FOB video and SBD audio. Got the guys card.

One of, if not the best show I have seen this year.

Show was probably somewhere in the 100-110 minute range

Whole set was just lettin it all hang out to the fullest

SER nannies after the show including break dancing competition, reba>the message, bug, tweeprise>OE and a mash up of about 50 other tunes in the vip tent. Good times. hoping to do both shows next weekend after last night.

not sure if national anthem is radiohead or star spangled banner

i\'m still not too sure how i feel about the first tube cover.  i love the song, but it almost seems like the band is going out of their way to play phish tunes (esp. since reba is a pretty much consistent cover).  not trying to be dick, just saying

well, coming from klout, it was probably just a jam with a 3 note bassline in which tpalms teased the First Tube riff ;)

I imagine it would segue into See The Light really smoothly though. Besides, it was unfinished, so maybe they segued out of it before the most annoying part.

this set looks like it was pretty fuckin fun... first tube teases from the wheelhouse last fall drove peeps nuts, I\'m sure the whole thing sounded just fine.

as much as I liked em, I hope the band didn\'t get paid in t-shirts this time around:inky:

national anthem was star spangled, I couldn\'t think of the actual name of the song at the time tho, thanks.

First tube was just kinda off the cuff. Definitely not like they went out of their way to learn this tune and play it to a T.  guess they were listening to it on the ride up. There was no set list and ellis said it to d-man between songs, a few people heard em and seconded the notion.

It was a really great show though. the full moon rose over the hill top and things just got crazy from there. The full moon jam was just screaming and hooting and hollering and howling and jumping up and down, freaking out, stomping feet, flailing hands in the air,  and just letting it all hang out by the band and the crowd. Very cathartic :)

The sound was a great version. Jam went way off the beaten path immediately and it was very dark for that song.

may fly was way out there.

dangeleese once again took spunk to a whole new level.

\'And she was\' might have been the best jam of the night believe it or not.

back in the day one of this bands signatures was playing the most amazing shows on nights when attendance is less than par and just ripping it up like they were playing for 5,000 people. Even though no one ever hopes for a dooze, it\'s really good to know they haven\'t lost that ability.

really quality show though. you guys will def a agree when u hear it. I will email the guy soon and see whats up with the tapes.I also got the first 75 minutes (half way through mayfly) on digi camera vid. doubt i will do anything with it but it was cool to listen and watch it again the next day. there was also other teases that I didn\'t note and I cant remember right now. and some kid from some other band sat in on the fly on I think and she was on keys.

I have acquired knowledge which relates to the fact that First Tube was not an actual play.

if there is one more phish song, and one more only, that the band should cover, it is David Bowie...could not think of a better tune for TB to cover

o.k. ...i thought it wasn\'t letting me post but apparently i\'m just a dumb fuck.

I know it\'s a few weeks later, but I wanted to chime in on this show as i truly rank it near the top in 6+ years of seeing this band in all different forms.

I: Beef Barley, The Sound, First Tube jam > See The Light^ > Metropolis#, May Fly Dissaray%, And She Was > Spunk@

^inverted; with \'Star Spangled Banner\' tease.
# with \'Hard Luck Harry\' tease and full moon jam.
% with \'Rape Me\' (Nirvana) tease.
@ with \'Hey Jude\' (The Beatles) jam.

Beef Barley: Always happy to here this one. I think while this song was happening there was a really weird "where the fuck are we" kind of vibe from the band and the fans and a "what the fuck are these people doing here" vibe from the residents. All in all a great way to open the can of chaotic worms that would ensue through out the course of the night.

The Sound: New song to me. Not too familiar. Definitely a dark jam as Klout stated.

First Tube: In my opinion I wouldn\'t label this "First Tube \'Jam\'". I think the band was still feeling the "where are we" vibe a bit. Tim basically said, "So what do you wanna hear?". A few hollars. A few screams. Then my buddy Seth screams Reba because he had just run into a You Tube clip of Tim playing it acoustic. Chris busts into the First Tube bass line, and, although we thought he was joking and it wasn\'t going to last, did not stop. Adrian goes into the drum beat. Matt layers the background with some keys. Then Tim rocks a little Trey style delay loop. This is when the night took off in my opinion. people got really into it. Some of the locals even got up and danced. they basically did everything but the outro to the song which slowly melted into an all Breakfast style jam.

See The Light: I was refilling beer cups in a pitch black Port-O-John at this point. I honestly didn\'t know it was \'See The Light\' because it basically sounded like \'The national Anthem\' to me. Beautiful moent in the set.

Metropolis: This one\'s a little fuzzy....you understand. ;)

May Fly Disarray: At this point the grittiness and stench of human sweat due to dancing was attracting a fairly large quantity of bugs. Tim says, "Boy, lots of flys around here." to which I responded, "Lots of may flys". "They know about the may fly." Then it got crazy. There are very few words that would do this version justice. Absolutely incredible. I think I was try to get Tim to tease \'Bark At The Moon\' at one point. Not sure if that ever happened actually. From memory I\'d say this version was about 30-40 minutes in length. Maybe more.

And She Was: First time seeing the band do this one. Real treat for me as I\'m a huge Talking Heads freak. Fantastic jamming and insane phyical and mental band interaction during this tune which carried over straight into Spunk.

Spunk: Don\'t remember to much on this one except that Tim was basically making everybody a part of this song. Letting people strum his guitar. play slide with Bic lighters. Fuck with the crazy effects on his floor board. Then, just like that, everybody stopped and let him do his thing at which point he stepped on his pedals, stopped the chaos, and the band went straight into the outro of "Hey Jude". Everybody was singing. Arms around each other. Dancing. Holding hands. blah blah blah......

Great time.

I\'ll never ever forget it.

Hope to meet some of you again in the future!

P.S. The guy who say in on keys was a guy named Dave Cohen from Bugg Juice out of Brooklyn. Pretty sure Dave ended up playing with Tim during his non stop rock block party in the vip tent as well.

That\'s it.

See ya!
