I have taken the liberty of setting up a fantasy baseball league for us .infoers. Not sure how many will be interested. It\'s free to sign up, we can all put money on the league if everyone wants to as well. up to you guys.

I would prefer live draft, but if we can\'t agree on a time/date for it once the league is full, we will change it to auto
the draft is one of the best parts of fantasy sports in my opinion, so we\'ll try to do it that way if possible

I know the draft time isn\'t going to work for everyone... but, being this is .info, at least put the draft on a night when the breakfast aren\'t playing! I\'ll be at the Ithaca show that night. The draft is my fav part of the league so I\'d like to be present for it if possible.

i accidentally set it to that, and I tried, but cant change it back to random. I promise I did it completely randomly and I did not end up with a top pick so....
if you have any qualms the most I can do is give you the draft position you would prefer if you post it on here before the draft

draft is now complete, and i must say, my team kicks ass. i ended up with the 5th pick, which was pretty good. one thing i didn\'t notice before, but it\'s too late now. i don\'t like how we only have one player on our bench. i\'m not saying we should have more players, but i think the two utility players are pointless. there\'s more strategy when you have to make a choice to play someone on your bench over one of your normal starters. does that make sense? either way, i am so ready for baseball.

Actually, we all have 5 bench spots. You used 4 of those spots up on extra pitchers which is probably why it appears that you are only able to have one extra batter. If you want more batting subs drop some pitchers.

I set it to 2 Utility spots because I figure it gives the deeper teams more of an advantage. And yes, bench spots can be used up by pitchers or batters.

My offensive players aren\'t playing too well at the moment. The only thing keeping me out of last place is my pitchers. Damn, I can\'t even escape the Padres\' trends in Fantasy Baseball. :wedgie:

gotta say this was the team i was most scared of during the draft.
so far antbach has taken a huge lead of 13 to 4 categories. But I predict a huge come from behind win here because most of my pitchers (far and away the best in the league) do not pitch until late in the week. of course your guys are hitting the ball a whole lot better than mine, which has given you the lead in the league standings, but the week is still young.
and on that note so is the season... i thought after being on top for a few weeks that I was just going to stay there, but i guess i was wrong.

BennyBoomers hasn\'t signed in to the league since April 4th so he didn\'t even see it.
FZ, don\'t you work for ESPN? I\'d imagine you\'d know which players to pick up before anyone else because of this. I guess it\'s just easier to trade for proven players instead.

I have never been a league commish, so I couldn\'t give you the step by step instructions, but I do believe you have the power to move players from one team to another.

I can edit a roster, add a player or drop a player. Can not move them in between teams, at least that I know of.

Been waiting for someone to get this going... I\'m in! Last year I had three other teams in the playoffs so I let my .info team lose in the first round. This year I pledge to pay attention if and when I make the playoffs.
