CMSS is by far one of my favorite and one of the chillest breakfast songs. If this song came up at any show the thought of dissapintment would be non existant. I dont know why i am never at the shows when it is played. I think i have only caught it 3 times in my breakfast career. And the Trio never played it but once or twice. I hear it is back though and i will be going as often as i can and screaming for some slack.

Im not so sure about adding lyrics. This song does enough for me with rythm alone. I wish i had know about the show the other night at the high school but i dont think i would have been able to make it there anyway. Anyone know if that show will be on archive because that would be sweet. did you enjoy playing it caitlin?

I don\'t think Cut Me Some Slack needs lyrics. It\'s already so chilled to begin with.

"Disco/Bisco" version was a great idea, too. The original version is good for an opener, but the disco version really keeps the song moving for when it\'s later in a set. I\'d like to see it rise to at least a "Slow Merge" level of regularity.

Drew I really cannot figure out what the your face is expressing in that photo. Stoned? Tired? Drunk? Disenchanted? Bored? Mildly irritated? Dismissive?

Really drunk, unaware that my picture is being taken, and, for what it\'s worth, much thinner than the last time I saw you.

Slack is by far, perfect the way it is, always with a nice undertone of funk always jammed out, and then brought back right into the funk. Whomever suggested lyrics, Really? the only thing CMSS need is to be played for about 7- 10 minutes, usually near the begining of the show and always with a jam intro that is off key so no one expects it when it hits.

Apparently that was me. I think this song serves as a nice groove for some freestyling before the jam section.

freestyling? the only time I\'ve ever seen a show like that they were playing Milly\'s Tavern in Manchester, which is well known for their Hip-Hop shows. It was fucking hilarious but def not something i would want to see on the regular. certainly not during a cut me some slack. don\'t get me wrong, i appreciate the freestyling genre.
