The Breakfast is pleased to announce the addition of keyboardist Matt Oestreicher to the band. Their original keyboardist Jordan Giangreco left the band in the summer of 2006 to pursue personal endeavors. The Breakfast will be debuting Matt in August at The Gathering of the Vibes, Camp Bisco, and a hometown show in New Haven, CT at Toad’s Place on Thursday August 23rd.
Matt Oestreicher says, “I am very excited to join the band. I was blown away the first time I saw them. Their performances are filled with magical moments and their musicianship is seamless. I believe in The Breakfast. I hope to add more passion and positivity to the music."
Guitarist Tim Palmieri says, “I had a blast playing as a three piece for the past year. We’ve grown quite a bit as a band and individually. Now we are ready for Matt with his virtuosity on keyboards and fresh energy to the Breakfast family!
The Breakfast will be playing the northeast throughout the fall with stops in the Midwest, Colorado, and California. The Breakfast is available for in store performances, radio interviews and phone interviews in support of the their latest album “Moxie Epoxy” released on HMG Records. At Camp Bigfoot, Tim hugged his keyboards because he is getting rid of them. They might hsow up at a show but I think he is gonna stick to guitar.

I\'ve seen and met Matt while he was playing with Adrian and The Blah Blah Collective. Really really nice guy. Really Really WACKY guy. Really really siiiick keyboardist.

Since Jordan\'s last show, my feeling about "the next Breakfast keyboardist" was this, "There will be a new keyboardist in this band. However, he will come along at the right time, fall out of thin air, and be someone that nobody has really heard of"........
Well thanks to Broseph and some posative energy, this seems to have happened.......
From the moment Adrian told me about this kid Matt he had been playing with, I had a funny feeling about it...... This is a pot that has been on the stove for sometime now. For a while it didnt seem like things were going to work (this was the initial talks back over some 5- months ago. But as we all know that all good things come in all good time.
I believe that Matt was sent to us to polarize and concentrate this band into the music juggernaut that it has always been intended to be......His talent, skill, and ability are on par with the bands (if you can call what those guys do par). His stage presence and showmanship is that of a consumate professional, but Matt doesnt take it serious (to the point of anal pretentious arteeest) allowing for amazing musical moments to happen spontaniously.
The whole dynamic of what we know as the Breakfast is going to take on a whole new feel. Though the stage setup will most likely be standard Breakfast fare, I believe that what it will generate will be something that we have all heard and hoped in our heads for.
The page has turned, yet again, and I, for one am ready, chomping at the bit for this yet new era for The Breakfast. So as I have said many times during the many changes and happenings within this rock and roll outfit, "It\'s a great time to be a Breakfast fan".

Hope for some new tunes by the end of the year or beginning of next, unless they have been working on something, which is possible. The Freakout is around the corner.

I will be at EC but camp bisco would be an $80 ticket, six or seven hours in the car and at least $40 in gas. Not worth it for one set. Similar situation for fan fest. So shut your pie hole.

Too true - that story spreads the word that the band\'s website hasn\'t been updated for three months!! Why hasn\'t something been done there yet? No word of Matt\'s arrival at all. What\'s the use of getting some free publicity on jambands if they redirect interested parties to a dormant site?
I think that\'s my first outright criticism of band/management in four years of being a member here, but here we are days before Camp Bisco, standing on the threshold of a dream of wider respect and a larger following and it appears to outsiders no-one is fighting their corner - not even the band, who don\'t even mention they have added a new member. Come on guys, try to get this fixed before the Vibes and definitely before Bisco.
And on a lighter note, welcome Matt - much as I like the trio, I\'ve missed the dedicated keys. Looking forward to your contributions.
(And yes, no prizes to anyone for spotting the Moodies reference above ;))

Last I know the people running the website left the bands side. I believe that they are working on getting .org done (whenever that maybe) but that is a time schedule for someone who isn\'t getting paid. Hence, nothing is done.

look good TOO? let\'s be honest here, that picture (along with some i recall from the past) looks totally unnatural. the positioning of everyone and the whole style is absurd. who approves this shit? i look and laugh because i know how thick their tunes are, but if i saw a poster of that without know TB\'s music id think "wow that band has to bring some weak sauce to the table." just my opinion....

for whatever reason that\'s the normal style of promo photography so that is i\'m guessing what booking agents want.... some like it others don\'t. It just portrays a couple of normal guys.

I have not seen his entire rig. Doubtful that we will see the full rig until Toad\'s Place.
I know he has a Yamaha Motif XS7. Plus other toys. I\'ll let you know as soon as they are all known.
