yah so due to the mooninite scare, all shows in boston that are all ages or 18+ are now subject to an 11pm curfew... the kidzzz are gonna be drinking in an alley and not the bar, so this don\'t make much sense, but neither does boston these days...so yah this will be an EARLY SHOW:inky:

Well if it had nothing to do with the Turner Advertising thing, then the curfew is even more ridiculous. The violence isn\'t going to go away any time soon. They can\'t keep a show curfew that\'s so early in a city like Boston... that\'s absurd!
Not to mention, this is very bad for people like me. I can\'t seem to get anywhere at night before 10:30... including Nashua... heh....

i went to a bar last night, never been there before so i tossed some fliers in my pocket figured i could hand some out. i gave 3 out, one to a friend of and friend and the others to some randoms. needless to say i got kicked out of the bar. i was outside smoking a cigarette waiting for my girl to come out and what follows her is a shit storm of fuck you\'s and want not. i guess some girl thought my girl called her friend a whore from across the bar and a chic fight broke out. well i tried to break it up and pushed the two away form each other and i guess the other girl fell and some dude was like you can\'t hit girls i was like WHAT!!!! i\'m trying to break them apart maybe if you helped out instead of playing with yourself we could just leave and it\'ll be over and the dude swung at me... i flipped out luckily some other dude was pushing me to the other side of the road thats when the cops showed up and we left.......
^^^^ the most F\'ed up experience i\'ve had at a bar and i\'m a pretty passive guy but WTF!!!!

They are real strict. However now that i think about it, it makes sense why this city full of brainwashed hypocritical puritans were thrown into a bombscare from the moonanite signage debacle......The only good times I have had in Boston were at private residences and hotel rooms of friends that have lived/stayed there......That being said, I cannot wait for the Bills Bar show......

Boston sucks. I\'m born and raised here and I moved back but I\'m well aware that it sucks and don\'t plan on staying forever. Here\'s the thing that fools people...
Some towns, when you live in them, you know they suck. Like Hartford or Albany or Trenton or Springfield, MA etc. You know you\'re a third-class citizen every moment you\'re there.
On the other side, some towns, when you live in them, you know they\'re great, like Denver or San Francisco or Austin or Boulder or Raleigh or Chicago. You know things can\'t get a whole lot better when you live there.
Then there are towns that sucker you into thinking it\'s cool, until you spend time somewhere that\'s actually cool. Then you say to yourself, "Damn, I thought I lived in a cool place, but now I realize that it sucks." Boston is the classic example of this. It\'s good enough that you don\'t immediately think it sucks, but once you live there and then see some alternatives, you realize.
Also, Boston gets an artificially inflated rating because half the population are college undergrads who have just left their podunct towns for college, so they all think it\'s the greatest thing ever when in fact it is not.
BTW that 18+ curfew rumor made me laugh. I haven\'t heard a doozie like that since Phish rumors were all the rage. The fact of the matter is that there is no city-wide curfew change on anything. I do wonder though if the lighted signs would have caused such a ruckus if the logo had been for a trusted brand like Coca-Cola, or even better, Merrill-Lynch, instead of a bird-flipping mooninite.

i actually like bill\'s bar a lot and will try to make it up next weekend if i can so all you boston people can kick my ny ass...

This attitude is nothing new with .info. Bitch and complain. Some of it has merit, some of it is useless internet talk. The truth be told is, that if I was handed a flier the other night at a show, did some homework and ended up on .info I would be discouraged by the amount of negativity being shown.
It isn\'t always like this and its not always true, but sometimes it gets out of hand and if a newbie was swinging through to get a "feel" they might pass the band because they are too good for Bostonia.
That being said. The only thing that sucks in Boston right now is the Celtics.

I was about to ask everyone out there in .infoland what there plans are for the weekend, including where people are planning on staying overnight in Boston and New Hampshire. Any late night parties going on? I still have to call some peeps in Boston but I can see what I can do about a headie spot.

but its true, i guess .info doesn\'t really help get newbs to shows, just a place for people that are already into the band enuff that they either know they can make a show or not. i used to come to this site a lot and was confused into thinking that it was a great thing that helped the band get new fans, as it helped me, but the truth is that the one or two diehards that get sucked into this site every month or so, usually end up spending more time talking shit about how shows are too short or have too little people there, than actually do anything productive to get heads out the shows and maybe see them in a bigger venue with a better time slot. huh, I thought .info was just like a MySpace for preppie greater New Haven area kidz.
For real though I think this board can be pretty unfriendly to n00bs, and its overall state of affairs probably discourages new fans rather than welcomes them.
Personally since I don\'t live in whatever town PB grew up in I wouldn\'t mind seeing some new heads on this board from my area and beyond... but I could see if that wasn\'t the case for you, that might not be the case for you.

i have heard 10:30-11 start time..i think you should be fine getting there at 9:30.

Fucking awesome..... That was really fun. What a set! It was non-stop classic PB from front to back. Great interplay going on between the trio...... Sick drumming as always. What a solo. Asscracks to end it had me jumping around and dancing like a lunatic. Tuneage is really really cool. And the new Escher\'s.... wow what a treat to hear those for the first time. It includes some BeeGee\'s style disco shit! Very cool!!!
