Title: ok, i\'m ready for trio tunes!
Post by: jking on December 05, 2006, 07:26:23 am
not four piece tunes played by the three piece, but three piece tunes written by the three piece only for the three piece. yeah, i know most of the last batch of tunes were written with the three piece in mind, but they\'re still \'supposed\' to have keys in them. i want to hear the three of them filling all the spaces and not have to think of the key parts that i\'m used to.

as well, i humbly offer the thought that the first batch of tunes should have NO keyboard parts. yes, that\'s right, no keys whatsoever. for a couple reasons- 1) the less timmy\'s off the guitar, the better, 2) the more judiciously the keys are used, the more potent they are and 3) i want to hear those three instruments fill all the spaces.

its a new band, lets hear some new songs!

said with love, of course!

Been ready since i saw them as trio for the first time. Even told Tim that\'s when I would get excited about the band again.

I am in complete agreement with you Jay....

I know for a fact that there are some new songs that are floating around in the genius brains of the band members
Tim has quite a few episodes he is working on.  He gave us a sneak preview in our hotel room in Denver (man they are fucking sick). Ron has at least 2 brand new ones that I am aware of.  Adrian also has at least 2 that he is working on
GREAT news, mr g!! i\'m pretty much band from the internet at work, so i had to wait til now to check up on this thread, and good things have shown up! while i\'m sure most folks wouldn\'t be too keen, i\'d love a whole show of bust outs. or, like, eppy1-69, escher\'s 1-69, etc... call me crazy, but i think it\'d be fun. next year oughta be veddy veddy interestink!

There is one catch folks......The Breakfast are extremely particular about the songs they play live and these new songs will NOT even see the light of day until they are worked on and "ready" for a live show....so please dont hold your breath or continuously badger the band about them.........
