Great Venue.. Whether they play the \'dungeon\' or out in the bar outside, there will be no crying after this show.. good way to officially start my summer..

pretty sure it will be in the carriage house. Deffinitly gonna be a sick sick show. Some powerful vibes at that place. I think I am gonna take full advantage of the beautiful grounds and camp out.
This place really kicks ass. Semi-outdoor venue...free camping...byob!, beautiful sceney, no rules or even bouncers for that matter, bon fires...AMAZING food, a hillariously falmboyant gay bartender, All the g-ville and otwiz kids...doesnt get much better than that.
TEAM RED BULL IN EFFECT!
-
It is a short drive to the Sterling Stage the next day...
-
araq did you get my email about flyering for tickets to that show?

wow, that sounds amazing! you know i was sorta undecided about going to this show until i read this thread -- this place sounds so sick!! im definitely going to make the trip now... thanks! :D

I\'ll second the notion on the venue. The rules are chill, and nobody rages like upstate New York heads. Also the food...oh my god. Far and away the best food of any venue the band has ever played. I mean granted most places they play are not 4-star restaurants. But the fact that inside the venue you can get what will probably be your best meal of the year besides Thanksgiving is pretty awesome. To anyone who goes, scrape up 30 bucks, go early, and bliss out.
-
hoping that Beardslee>Sterling>Strangecreek is a realistic future endeavor, considering I\'ve been slacking as of late.. that castle looks insane.. plus, Upstate Heads=Upstate Headies
-
The Castle is probably one of the best venues in the northeast I\'ve been to. Can\'t wait!!!!

"...Led Zeppelin covers anyone..." say what?? who wrote up the ad for the boyz? it would be cool though..

-
9 days has quickly become 1! tomorrow can\'t come fast enough :)
... so how sure are we that we can camp there? talked to a few folks this past week that aren\'t sure if there is really an "official" place to camp... i\'m bringin my tent no doubt, hopefully all will turn out alright... looks like we might get some rain which is bummin me out but i\'m sure we\'ll make the best of it...
... see ya\'ll tomorrow night :D
-
40% chance of a passing thunderboomer...can you say light show???
camping is not "official", but is allowed. Pretty much wherever you can find a spot to throw your tent. You\'re out in the sticks! All the mounties are probably either drunk themselves or sleeping by 10pm
-
hows the parking? would it be possible to just crash in my van? sounds like the place to be this weekend.
-
From what I recall (very foggy), people were setting up tents right next to their cars. So I think you\'re all set.
-
its no big deal. The owner is a very cool guy. Its a pretty wild place and it is DEFFINITLY in the sticks. Pretty much anything goes...just be respectfull of the grounds and no one is going to bother you. so if your planning on camping your only worry is gonna be the rain.
-
so would it be safe to say that I would be able to have a few drinks and not have to drive until the next day?

anyone else hear the rumour this is hte end of the Real Radio Tour??

i would recomend bringing your own beverage of choice. drinks are super taxed there and byob you can drink what you want for cheaper with no Idea needed ;)

Good luck to all those who go. I hope you all have one hell of a weekend. Mcajam and Mamalaka, I\'ll be giving you a miracle this weekend. Enjoy!

Miracle?
I thought the name Spacey automatically made the assumption to my degree of weirdness.
The parties involved know what I mean. I am not at liberty to say but they will appreciate it.

Are they playing outside tonite? How is the weather outlook, is it supposed to rain?
