He says the DEA burst in with a battering ram. They had assualt rifles. They shot 3 people and killed 1 dog during this raid.
He said he just dropped to the floor. His words:

Raiding pot clubs in CA is really dumb, as the local zoning/state laws allow for their existence. The federal govt does not recognize them and still occasionally goes after these establishments.
We have bigger fish to fry in Oakland; the police resources could be desperately used in many other ways.

Sounds like this was a little different than a typical medial marijuana facility. I don\'t know much about how all of that works though so I probably shouldn\'t say a thing.

Well that story says the raid was not on a medical pot club but rather a factory and residences of people associated w/ said factory. No where did it say they raided a medical pot club.
Medical pot clubs and marijuana candy factories are 2 totally different entities.
I can see the DEA bustin\' up a factory type place as described but a Medical pot club?
When they came down here and cleaned up a bunch of Medical clubs it was rather civilized no assault rifles or battering rams though there was a dog or 2.
