Lerherbles - do i know you??

anyways, in all seriousness, yeah, chris was hurtin.. and i did/do feel really bad.. but like i said, in the spirit of forum ballbusting, i gotta give it to him. :) just like freddie/josh got it the previous night..

if you think about it though, chris is really lucky, since he probably won\'t remember being on the disgusting floor in the living room\'s bathroom, and therefor will not be scarred for life.. and that can\'t be a bad thing! ;)

Dave, I don\'t know you, but I think I know who you are.  Do you have short black hair and wear glasses, stand behind the soundboard?  Or do you have a whiteboy fro? I had a red Skull cap on yesterday. I go to every Living Room show(because I live 15 min away from it in MA) and the ocassional Webster Theatre show. I\'ve talked to Chris F a few times and know who he is. I met Gray yesterday.  Next time the boys play the living room I\'ll introduce myself. Its definately cool to put a face to the name to the people from the website.  And I was only ballbusting myself when I made that remark.  I remember ChrisF just sitting up in the bathroom puking at random.

The puking smiley - - - - - - - - - CLASSIC

Unfortunately I remember it way too well, but the only thing that will scar me for life is missing half of a pb show.

Thanks for helping me out last night though, dave.

Haha you might be thinking of Matt Vallo, Dave\'s taping partner in crime, with the first description.  I\'d love to see Dave w/ the whiteboy fro.

Anyhow, pretty good show last night.  Freddie and I both rated Puppetry as an 8.5 before we discussed it, therefore it WAS an 8.5.  Pretty damn good jam.  Eppy I > Sundance was mint.  The Sundance intro jam is always one of PB\'s best, right up there with the first Buquebus jam and the Eppy II jam.  Band on the run featured some of the best vox I\'ve ever heard from the band.  Great acoustic tune!  Scheme closer...well, there\'s nothing better.  Would\'ve liked to have heard the ending jam go on a little longer with Tim reflecting on the nature of the universe.  All we got was the standard goodnight speech.  Peace Frog was a good encore.  Yet another paltry living room crowd made it to the finish line.  The good part was that there was a noticable lack of old men groping teenage girls and people pissing on the wall next to the stage.  There were actually 10 lights on the stage, although it is unclear if any of them worked with the light board.  The sound was possibly the worst ever.  The speakers kept crackling and farting, particularly during the intro to Escher\'s.  Also, during the acoustic set, all of a sudden Tim\'s guitar went from level 3 to level 8 in volume, and there were other points where things completely changed levels immediately.  I had a good time and they played well, but please, for the love of god, can PB PLEASE stop playing the Dying Room?

Thanks to Antbach for showing me to the party afterwards.  Keg of Guinness, oh yeah, it takes a special breed to serve up a keg of Guinness.  There were a lot of very drunken Rhode Island College kids there, many of whom had been at the show.  Good time.

See you all soon!
Wolfman

Funny thing is I didn\'t know more than half the people at the party either, heh.  And everyone kept thinkin the keg was kicked when it was still flowing when I left at 6:30am. . . an overall great night in Providence I\'d have to say. Thanks to everyone who came out after, hope ya\'ll had a good time.

no problem chris.. we\'ve all been there.. (well, maybe not on the floor in the living room, but you know what i mean) ;)

Lerherbles, no whiteboy fro here.. yankees hat and a phish hoodie the other night, a little in front of the board the whole night.. i think you\'re thinking of josh dobson - pb\'s sound guy..

in all seriousness, i was hurtin\' at this show myself... i was really tired from gettin\' to bed @ 5am after the nyc show.. only slept till around 9:45 too.. there were a lot of good jams (ep1>jam>sundance comes to mind), but i got to the point towards the end of the night where i just wanted the show to end, as i was dreading the ride home more and more as each minute passed..

was really weird too, going from one of the nicest rooms pb\'s played at in a long time on friday night, to probably the filthiest room pb\'s ever played on saturday.. also, going from a non-smoking room to a smoking room, made me appreciate the smoking ban even more.. can\'t wait for it to come to CT!

i do have to comment on the Trinity Brewhouse - across from the Providence Civic Center Dunkin\' Donuts Center, where we went to eat/drink before the show.. food was pretty good, and the oatmeal stout was absolutely delicious! definitely check it out next time you\'re in providence..

I forgot to talk about the show,  I know the living room sucks
but it was one of the best shows I\'ve ever seen,  Hard Luck Harry was amazing- the best one I\'ve ever heard.

This show fuc&ing RIPPED!  Yet another kick-ass performance by the (second) best band in the country, at the best dive bar there is.

Great Big Fiery Ball is a great way to start the show.. And of course they rolled on.  I am so very impressed with all four guys in the band.  They have a firm grasp on how to JAM and they play with passion.

I was with some newbies to PB, and they were impressed.  My girlfriend thankfully LOVED it, it was her first show.  I\'ve been talking about them non-stop.  We threw down SO hard.. Sunday was her birthday!  So PB was our ticket.  We danced like fools and it ruled.

I threw up all day Sunday, thanks to partying too hard.  PB is the best, I can\'t wait for my next show.  I\'m thinking of hitting Toad\'s for new years.  Anyone got a line on a cheap hotel room?  How much are drinks at Toad\'s?  That place rocks.

alrighty later...

My guess is the disco biscuits.  PB on the bun\'s b-day and I don\'t even get a phone call, I\'m kinda hurt Russ.  Anyways, give the wifey my love and lots of it.  Dude, if you\'re down for PB on NYE, let me know, cuz I\'ll be there in a heartbeat.

BTW, don\'t you find it odd we stumbled upon this random message board within a week of eachother, it was meant to be, bro.

He\'s right, I\'m a humongoid biscuits fan at this point... Talk about taking it deep, those guys kick it like nobody\'s business.

The same can be said (and I do) about Timbo and the boys.  Complete uncompromising musical blasphemy.  My kinda thang..

The first time I saw them I figured Tim wasn\'t even human.

But yeah, so they\'re second on my list.  Third might have to be Phil and Friends.
