we\'ll be fine, and yes the Association was a good watch. prob a lot more interesting than if they did it w/ the Lakers. Doc Rivers signed for 5 more years. bring it on!

oh so the Lakers gave them that ring, like they didn\'t win 3 other playoff rounds before beating the lakers by 39 points. we still got 17 banners and had Len Bias and sadly Reggie Lewis not died, they\'d have been a consistently good team from the 80s to the 00s. those eddie jones, nick van exel lakers squads were nasty though.

Excelent point on Len Bias that really, really derailed the celtics for a long time.

As for the future of the green and white unless Rondo can start scoring more playing Derrick Rose-esque basketball the Celtics won\'t make it back to the Eastern Conference finals.

Kendrick Perkins is no Bill Russel, however he is an ugly, massive, brick wall that is a force to be reckoned with in the paint, and Celtics fan that thinks they were better off without him can go take a seat next to Danny Ainge.

Unless they make a big splash in the offseason the team they have right meow won\'t be getting the job done next year. But alas I\'m a Knicks fan so and they made them look shittier than the Bucks. Speaking of Milwaukee..

Most overhyped team this year by far. They caught lightening in a bottle for half of a season last year with Brandon Jennings, now the whole league knows how to guard him, and besides Bogut no one else on that team stands out. Good scorers but everyone in the NBA are considered good scorerd

typical celtics fan living in the past when the present crumbles upon them. at least Nick and Eddie were in the playoffs where were the celtics those years? oh yeah missing the playoffs consistently. yeah all the celtics glory is in the past per usual. As a Lakers fan I always know the team will be competing. It is THE PREMIER team of the NBA always has been always will be.

our best player was playing w/ 1 arm for 3 games, i\'d say 5 is a lot better than the Lakers 4, and the sore losers that bynum and odom are.

The western conference finals should be a good answer on the old debate of momentum or rest. The Thunder just got done with such a hard fought series with the Griz you know their legs must be soar.

The Mavs on the other hand has been sitting around laughing at how badly they embarrased the champs just drawing up a gameplan for their upcoming opponent.

I honestly think it just matters what type of team you got on which path will work for you. And the more I look at it the more I think both teams are right where they want to be. The Thunder is young and they have momentum still after winning an intense game 7. The Mavs are a little older and their whole game comes down to execution. All in all it should be a hell of a series.

MAVS TAKE IT IN 6 AND WIN THE FINALS!
