Im saying I think in the situation where its tied and you have the absolute last shot, trying to get in the paint and a good look or fouled is the way to go. Dont get me wrong, the buzzer beater jump shot is arguably the most exciting moment in sports, but if you really want the best percentage I think down low is the way to go

Sorry Gregg but I was working until now but yeah even with the celtics winning the last game I knew the heat would take one in boston.
Esp. since it took a superhuman effort from rondo to win that last game. I hate to think it but the heat look pretty damn able.

for the most part though, the Celtics played like shit (outside of Pierce in the first 47 minutes and 58 seconds).   Lebron and Wade played great and it was still tied at the end of regulation.  If you think the Celtics are just gonna lay down in game 5, then you must be thinking of a different team.

Pierce  21.1 ppg  2.6 apg  4.9 rpg
Allen  19.3 ppg  2.6 apg  4.1 rpg
Garnett  16.0 ppg  2.6 apg  11 rpg
Rondo  15.7 ppg  11.1 apg  6.4 rpg

all 4 of them need to contribute in game 5.  we can\'t win w/ Garnett having a crap game like tonight.  we can\'t win w/ Allen and Rondo making bad passes causing turnovers.  and we can\'t win w/ Pierce forcing up unlikely shots.  This Miami team capatalizes on every little mistake and we need to change that so we\'re capatalizing on their mistakes.

I am just so glad Danny Ainge was there in Miami once again.   When he was sitting there, and the camera went on him, you almost could see a little bubble over his head that said, "I got rid of Kendrick Perkins for......."    They were really hurt by not having a big man in the middle to block, rebound, etc.   But what can you do?  It was a hard fought game.  The players on the floor gave their all.

Curious to see what Ainge does in the off season to dismantle this team even more.  

Also, curious to see what team becomes my second favorite...  (i.e. wherever Kemba Walker goes in the draft....)  

I just have one wish:  Please do not let the Miami Heat be Eastern Conference Champs and or NBA Champs.

Hmm let\'s see. A team with stars just coming together against a team with 4 stars that has been together awhile. The Heat didn\'t have a chance this early in the year.

they beat 2 playoff caliber teams(milwaukee and chicago) in overtime.  i guess that means they suck.  either that or leith is retarded.

Wow you can tell the future? Both of those teams now have 2 and 3 wins respectively after 6 games and not looking that great. Oh but it is the east you can really suck and still make the playoffs so you may be right.

uh Gregg where were the Bucks in the playoffs? Oh and how did that early stomping of the heat do ya?  I was right as you can suck and make the playoffs in the east. However Rose had an MVP year and no one but Bulls fans if that saw that coming. So yeah your memory sucks.

I knew Rose was an MVP quality player, not necessarily that he\'d take it home, but is in the upper echelon of players in the league(the Celtics have at least faced them in the playoffs the past few years and I knew what he could do some games).  I also mentioned later on in the thread that Carlos Boozer would make the Bulls a better team, and look at them now.  

Sorry if my Milwaukee prognostication was wrong, they still got a bunch of talent, just no one leading them anywhere at the moment.

The Celtics taking out the Heat 3 straight times in the regular season is neither here nor there since you were the one who decides who is good and bad in week 2.

OK Let me start with the obligatory celtics suck.

Championship still goes through Los Angeles and so far The Lakers are actually looking interested in defending it from the get-go. I think Phil is on them to get it going early this year as this year should be the most competitive it\'s been in awhile with all the moves made to try and dethrone the Back2Back Champs.

Anyone watch the mini celtics retrospective ESPN had? It was great watching how little their big 3 accomplished. Remember that whole rebirth of the celtics? 1 ring and that was given to them.
At least I know that Dr. Jerry Buss has no qualms about spending money and the Lakers will be right back in the playoffs next year with a GM like Kupchak reloading and a new coach.
The celtics still have that brain trust Ainge and a maybe on Doc. Have a great offseason celt fan!
