alright dave, you finally got the m-audio410 to work with your laptop! how did it work out? I noticed that the audience mics were in front of the soundboard. How far was the board from the stage and did you nudge the aud wave file to compensate for the delay? also, can you record 4 separate analog tracks (2 mic and 2 line) simultaneously on the m-audio410?
Can\'t wait to hear the show!

matt - the recording went well, and i think it came out pretty good...
the board was fairly close to the stage (i\'d say 15 feet tops), and there was no noticable delay in the aud/sbd recordings.
yes, you can record 4 separate analog tracks with the 410, but from what i hear, the built-in pre isn\'t very good, so i\'ll still be using the DMIC-20 with it..
i didn\'t practice too much with it, pretty much just enough to get it going.. still trying to figure out what program i\'m gonna use to record/mix, but... it\'s finally up and running..
by the way, everyone should download this show.. it\'s a ripper..

dave,
I listened to most of the show and it sounds great. 15ft is not that far back from the stage, sounds like a small venue. The delay was not that noticable and helps crerates a nice stereo immage.
thanks for the feedback on the 410. I still want to try it out on my laptop to see if it will works before I buy my own. thanks for the feedback.
