kindms taped. Soundboard audio and single wide video as well. Doozie croud, 100 tops with maybe 80 watching but I heard only 180 paid for the weekend so % wise they did all right. :P

Was not at toads but Matt only pulled out his cheat-sheet on see the lights jam. Otherwise all songs he had down. Matts first sandwich, done flawlessly. Song selection was limited due to the material matt has down so far but on the ride back adrian told him he has 10-15 songs to learn by thursday, so there will be some new stuff coming in. Excelent rufus jam. Went out and explored some areas I\'ve never seen rufus go. The piano solo was great. Matt is very tasteful and I think it will take some time for him to get the songs down to a real second hand comfort level but once that happens and he opens up it is going to be scary.

Glory of love is a joke between adrian and matt, matts been playing it a lot lately between songs (rehersals I\'d guess) and Adrian was making fun on him for it on the way up, so we all did a group request for it and got our tease.

Tire blew out on the trailer 4 miles from the venue, wrong size tire iron, jack wouldn\'t fit underneath because of the incline, chadwick gets the save of the day award for somehow fixing it. It\'s quite irronicle, don\'t you think steve?

its too bad more people couldnt make it up for this show.  toads was amazing but here from rufus jam on and even prior the synergy btwn tim and matt was the creation and the making of pure extacy - the potential of this *new* band if they keep going in this direction is absolutely infinte in nature.
ps - kids are fine, doing great actually, thx for caring :)

A Very Special set of music.

Sitting there drinking and listening in the sweet spot. about 10 minutes or so in you could tell it was just one of the sets.

I have seen quite a few magical sets in my short time on earth and I really think this ranks right up there.

Better than Thursday IMHO. Shorter of course but all the transitions seemed smooth and Matt def. was awesome.

From what I heard, Tim was called onto the stage & asked to play while RAQ was playing their set... only problem was his gear was already packed up, so he shared the keys with Stoops instead!

yea, this happened. It was raqs last song and tims gear was already packed up and they called him up so he just jumped on keys. He did a REALLY good job to. Todd took a ton of pictures.

Good to finally meet kindms et all!

that seems to be the trend with every single show since matt joined: they keep getting better, and better, and better!

From Jambands.com:
Just a few days after Mariaville, NY’s Indian Lookout Country Club hosted Camp Bisco, the upstate New York location welcomed a number of rising jam-acts to its property for PhanPhest 3.0. A number of collaborations took place throughout the weekend, often centered around popular covers. During RAQ’s set, Breakfast guitarist Tim Palmieiri took the stage to show off his organ skills on a cover of the Allman Brothers’ “Whipping Post” (which actually resembles Frank Zappa’s take on the song).

The article goes on about other non Bfast collaborations.

seems to me, other bands are starting to recognize the huge talent that is mr palmieri, sitting in for numerous collaborations this summer. its well deserved and great publicity for the band.
in terms of matt\'s playing, is really sick at times and also seems lost at times, but i think that will change once he gets comfortable. things are looking great for the band and im excited to see what the future will be. cant wait for narraganset and daniel st shows :disco:

a VERY good Rufus.

For myself, at least, the only time I can truly say a song is the "best-ever" can be when I am in attendance. There is an energy that is attached to the live experience that makes me feel that way.

I do feel that this is a great example of Matt contributing musically to the songs. It makes me feel good to hear some of the songs like its the first time.

As a member of Team Buquebus, I hold you dearly in my heart, this Rufus got me excited.
