I was up close most of the show, but I looked back and I think there were three or four taping rigs set up.
I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

I gotta say it was weird being at a breakfast show and not seeing greg ellis around. first time that\'s happened for me in four years or so.
Was a good time though. Great enthusiastic crowd of several hundge under a nice pavilion in AMAZING april weather. shorts and a t shirt all night! sound was sub par. bad mix and merky but it was not too awful so I doubt many people noticed besides me.
tunage was a sleek version. EE was jammed well. the vt song with sax was totally awesome but they coulda let they guy solo a bit more. jordan did a long solo and I thought he was gonna hand it off to the guy but they went back into the lyrics and that was that. mayfly was really far out type II. do not remember much of rufus. queeb was good but not upstate good ;)
all in all a great way to set off what I hope will be an epic summer of breakfast. I would really love to see them do their own fest somewhere.
yuengling premium!

OK who logged in under Klout\'s name?
-
it was a nice change of pace and sounded good. reminded me of years ago when jason press would sit in at the pub. the guy last night took like a 1 minute solo followed by like a 6 minute jordan solo then the guy was clearly ready to go again but the band pretty much just said no your done and he left. I thought it was kinda rude and disapointing but it was probably more unconscious than anything

Everyone was housing the pretzels. There was NO food available after the set.
-
no escher\'s 3?
glad they played all the big jammers.
-
I am way impressed with the amount of food Klout put away on Sunday morning. Nice job man.
-
looks great. really great. still nothing will get me to actually go to a "festie," brah. i hung it up in like 2002. i guess most would say it\'s my loss. i think it isn\'t. to each their own.
-
they were unbelievable at some kind of jam.
one of my favorite parts was when the fire juggling troupe came out and did their act while the bfast was killing some outer space jam. it was amazing.
can\'t wait to hear it!

I should have a copy of the show on audio soon. I got a couple of contacts that taped the show. I will pass it along to the proper authorities so that it can get posted on archives.
The one thing i do want to clear up is Capt. SAX!! There was a band earlier in the day called The Hoppin John Band from Philly. Basically it was a cross between a big band and a marching band. Well they hire union musicians to fill in spots when they need them. I think Capt Sax was not expecting the call to play at a "hippy fest". Anyways this guy was all of the sudden flashing back to 1968 and was out of control. He was ingesting lots of things and really got caught up in the whole festy scene that day. I honestly don\'t think the boys even knew he was coming out on stage for vermont. That might be the reason for the short solo cuz nobody had any idea what he was doing. Needless to say later that night he was spotted with his shirt hanging out and standing by the campfire with his sax playing sweet child o mine by G-n-R along to the drum circle. He had a good time but nobody knows where he actually slept that night. If he did even sleep.
Thanks again to the guys for letting me sit on the lights for the night. I had a great time and I hope i made Ellis proud.

Downloading it now. Will listen tomorrow. Thanks for posting.
-
1. rufus
2. mayfly
3. tunage
good stuff
-
yeah, what was that shit with jordan slowing it down to almost a complete stop, beautiful.
-
yea the rufus take down is incredibly tasteful
also kinda random but for a brief second after the slow part timmy\'s tone and notes sounds just like the end of vanilla sky

The festies and largest shows require vast attention to epic-like domain status.
Awesome throw-down guys; can\'t possibly wait to tear it up @ Red Square. Oh yes.
