Great show, incredible weather, and I\'m sure nothing like this has ever hit Branford commons. War Pigs was awesome, that crazy dude from G-Soul looked like something out of the WWE and the other drummer and Adrian looked like they were one drummer with a mirror. Their drum duet in Moby Dick was one of the best I\'ve ever seen, right up there with Trey and Fish at Coventry ;) (Eat your heart out Hart/Kreutzman :duck: Just kidding.) WUIAC was pretty good, as was CMSS. I love the new intro jam for STL, the way they slide into the song over a couple of minutes is great. They\'ve been doing this for a lot of songs lately. It\'s pretty close to jam > x, which I am a big fan of. Buquebus was great as always but not particularly noteworthy as far as Buqubuses go. Karn Evil 9 is a great closer, and a great form of subtle advertising for the later show. I had a lot of fun, certainly an interesting crowd of people in Branford.
Geeky setlist stuff: I think the opening War Pigs and Mean Streets have to go on the setlist. All 4 members of PB were onstage and playing with 2 guests. If all 4 members of the band are onstage and playing at the same time, and the show is billed as their show and not someone else\'s, is that not a PB show?

How much time elapsed between those 2 songs and The Breakfast\'s Official set ? Did any of The Breakfast leave the stage for a time between the 2 songs and the Official set?
These 2 songs were a part of the Soul Jam and not the set if the 1st question is answered by 5 min. or more or the 2nd question is answered yes. imo

no time passed. They went right into moby dick after after mean streets. The drummer was still there for moby dick, so that song was probably still part of the soul jam.

Well if no time passed between those songs then I would think oh man here goes Wolfman is right. Those songs should be part of The Breakfast set w/ the 2 guests listed on War Pigs and Mean Streets. Question is now were those songs moreover was the Soul Jam recorded?

matt multitracked the whole thing and there was an audience taper there as well.

Good call wolfman!! To be honest, I was wondering where this fabled War Pigs was as it wasn\'t on the setlist.

It was billed as the Psychedelic Soul Jam (Featuring The Breakfast and Gsoul frontman and Opus on 2nd Drumkit. and it should have its own setlist separate from the Breakfast set....which notes that Opus was on drums for Moby Dick......
ser geeky
