So glad i made it down. Many highlights and as usual, the band was schmokin. Thank you Breakfast!
-
Awwwwww.....It\'s like I was there in spirit. Nice looking setlist imo. If anyone was there, you are very lucky.
-
Just wow.
Last night\'s show was huge. My brain is like non existent right now. I was completely floored. They were on top of their game, the entire night and the energy was outrageous.
Thank you, Breakfast.

Great show, lots of fun as always. That had to be one of the best sets I\'ve seen. The episodes were phenomenal, particularly Episode 3. Always good to see the guys play some mind blowing stuff at home. Now I have to move... ugh no fun. And I am glad I got to see East Pearl, that is such a sweet apartment. Definitely love the secret agent stove vent. I mean even the bathroom floor is comfy.
-
what a great time! man were they on. peaches>pygme twylyte>peaches clearly speaks for itself. haven\'t heard all the episodes in a row in a while, adrian ripped it with the drum solo towards the end of ep 1, and mooboo\'s was absolutely unbelievable. ep 3 was very good, but will never dethrone mooboo\'s for the "best episode," but that\'s another argument i guess. drums and bass and all that stuff was good.
gladys doesn\'t really do it for me that much anymore and as i was telling jen, they must\'ve heard me cuz it pretty much turned out to be one of the best jams of the night, actually one of the best jams i\'ve heard in a while. and no quarter was just great, adrians drumming was just ridiculous, and i loved how they slowed it down to a crawl before bringing back with some serious intensity for a great finish.
wuiac, had me hoping it was really gonna be scheme, but that\'s ok.
doughboy was the best one i\'ve ever heard. they fuckin\' nailed it. wow!
...and if this show wasn\'t recorded then that is just wrong.
-
Fitz had it covered. He definitely recorded, and Ken had a handheld camera going as well.

ha! glad you enjoyed the place. it will not be the last time

nicknels is pissed! seriously though, that eppy 2 was fucking ill. adrian and dangle destroyed it.

Ohhh Gladys. Oooo Mooboos!
I really wanted to head over Zuke, and check out that new throne but the body wasn\'t allowing it after that extensive rage routine.
UndeRagers knew how to throw down serious!
-
lady gaga? seriously? no offense. she\'s her number one fan...
I\'m sorry, I guess that wasn\'t nice.
-
show looks sick
-
that setlist is insane, wow.
-
back to back (and sandwiched) zappa songs? interesting. was it the full versions/planned that way or spontaneous.
-
It had to have been planned. Defintitely full versions, Peaches was starting to jam for a minute and then Pygme Twylyte started and was complete, then that jammed a bit and you could hear it starting to slowly take on a "Peach-like" sound and if you ask me it was more like a Peaches Reprise but you can be the judge I guess when you eventually get to hear it. I was kinda bummed to have missed Pygme Twylyte a few nights before when Tim played it, I certainly never thought the breakfast would play it tho...
-
best.birthday.ever.
the zappa sandwich melted my mind! 1:30 closing time caught me by surprise though...
-
shit, happy bday cannontrip- wish i met ya at the show!
-
Looks a very sweet setlist - the zappa sandwich has me salivating already.
-
I\'m really glad I decided to come up to Toad\'s for this one. I was pretty damn sober, but was getting down harder than I have at a Breakfast show in a long time. This might have been the best show i\'ve seen since 2007 NYE run Toad\'s place w/ Ron.
Zappa Sandwich? All the Episodes? Gladys! No Quarter! One long monster set!?!?!
Really couldn\'t have asked for more.
Also a great turnout for July 4th in the 21 and under crowd. Seemed like they were the winners Saturday night
-
sorry i\'m such a douche nick.....i\'ve got you now......lets see how long i can remember. you\'re right....the under 21\'s were raging it hard.

I\'m getting used to it ;)
Honestly, this was a great weekend of music for me. Anna Liffey\'s for Timmy TOur > Bobby Q\'s for Indobox > Toad\'s for the Breakfast. All the shows really blew away my expectations. I\'m glad that I decided to go the music route this weekend vs. the back yard BBQ / fireworks route. I\'m not sure how many B\'fast / Timmy TOur events i\'m going to be at this summer...need to put a lot of work into...well, work ;) I will def. see you all at the end of the month @ The Field!
-
ya it was a ser dance party on the under 21 side- i wanted to bring my beer to the party over there, cuz all you old jamokes made it feel like a sneak peek at a cemetary!
-
...i may be totally wrong but i was a dancin\' foooo-oooo-ooool.
-
hey ren....explain to nick how long it takes me to remember peoples names. i wish i could say that i was getting better about it but that would be a lie
-
yeah nick, it takes a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillllllle. he\'s tends to be hazy at times.
-
Jesus. What a show to miss!
-
it seems like the under 21 side is always having a better time at toads then the disgruntled "Over 28" side

Sounds like a robot that comes with an intensely complex rhythm matrix, standard.

im pissed i missed this show, i really wanted to go, but im going to ct from vt next week for a wedding, and the next weekend is camp bisco so i took this one off. i knew i would pay for it. i just feel better that i caught a mooboos two red square shows ago so i dont have to wallow in self pity about missing yet another ep 2. I\'m happy for all who caught it.
-
This list is heddy goodness.
Was the last full version of the three Episodes on 12-23-06?
So cool to hear that the under 21\'s were getting down. A new generation of kids feasting on some Breakfast.
Get ready midwest! they\'re coming.

most of those under 21ers were there to see the first band play "The Friendly Curds" and they stuck around for the Breakfast, minds blown, until their curfews

Driving back on I-95S was nearly as epic as the concert itself. The golden shimmer of NYC suburbia > fiery orange sky on the bridge to lbi . . . and the brightest meteor I\'ve ever seen on the minute I was born (sober observer confirmed).
