Last night was so great in a bittwersweet kind of way. It was really a proper farewell show for The Save. The Ron-ie-Spears chants, the setbreak montage, the thank you banner, the Sequoia Branch (!), the hometown crowd & the lovely Breakfast Family out in full force, Everything about this show was really special. Especially the music. Utica or bust!

the jamming i heard last night was the best EVER EVER to come out of the band, period.  A few of the songs in the 2nd set are a blur, but i believe the HLH sandwich with TLATG was the best of the night.  i literally did not stop dancing, jumping, yelling, giving about 500 high-fives, moshing, throwing beer in the air and singing along the ENTIRE NIGHT.  The crowd was so awesome i cant even begin to describe how i felt in the sea of heads.  the bar felt like it was almost totally full, which is suprising because there werent many people (so it seemed) at the very beginning.

Reba, do i even need to say anything?  every slight messup they did in the composed section at FF9 (there were very few) was corrected tonight and the jam was insane.

The buquebus was one of my favorites of all time, very reminiscent of 2005 era queebs with more synth and thickness.

every song was a highlight...the encore was insane!  jordan, matt together?  holy shit!  when they ripped out kashmir teases i lost it.

thanks everyone, ronny spears, tim and spacey for putting me up, and all the cool people that i had funny conversations with.  have fun on NYE, ill be thinking of TB for sure.

there was a buttload man, i was thinking over 300, especially since that place holds about 750 and it looked pretty damn filled.  it was actually very difficult for me to navigate through to get beers at points.

Ron was havin a hell of time last night...
When Jordan came out he was real happy...

This is a sad day for our beloved band...Some ppl just don\'t understand how tight Rons sound is, and how that sound was more or less conceived from the artistic intent of tim and adrian...He just wanted to play bass guitar layin lines for tim...I just hope this new position can be filled via seamless transition for this new bass player and that the sound isn\'t going to be totally compromised

man im becoming very depressed right now. happy to hear they\'re ending this era in a huge way. im tired after watching that video. breakfast nation will need an emotional rescue come New Year\'s Day.

im happy for all of you that get to experience this. sounds like it\'s pulling everything whole and human out of you. cheers to Psychedelic Breakfast.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
