bump since there are a lot of newly posted shows and this seems pretty unique with the jethro tull cover.
-
yeah that sounds pretty sweet. unfortunately i won\'t be around
-
i might swing down for this. go topless day is the day after
-
wow, cool, thanks for bumping that!
-
This is gonna be fun. bring your parents and other Tull lovers
-
Chris, do you play the flute?
-
too easy.
-
I\'m bein\' SER - who will play flute?
-
just keep lobbing in the pitches there ulees rotfl
-
no flute...but thats what boomerang loop pedals are for. actually to me the flute plays a much smaller role when compared to the lyrics and song writing on this album. call me crazy
-
if u listen to the flute on tull it\'s played like a guitar anyways. ian anderson says he only played the flute b/c he knew he would never be as good at guitar as clapton.
who else is playing? drums?
-
Tim can do the whole set standing on one foot.

As in: will he stand up for \'Stand Up\'?
-
I am excited to be exposed to a bunch of Tull that I never heard. Not to mention Shine and The Doozer rockin it out.

Any reports, recordings, setlists etc.?
Really sorry I missed this.
-
I didnt keep a setlist.....
Tim and Chris sounded great together.
Set 1 - I got there after the first set.
Set 2 - opened with a SER Metropolis then they went into the Tull album which was pretty fucking cool to see and hear, especially with Chris doing the classic Tull flute pose whilest playing the upright.....
There may have been a non tull set closer, but honestly i dont remember...
Set 3 started with Stormy Monday with friend of Chris\' on vocals. Her name is Nicole and she is a fanatstic vocalist with an beautiful and powerful voice.......but I had to leave in the middle of it because my designated driver said it was time to bail.
I hope they do this again.....
